DevOps Engineers

We’re looking for at least one full-time DevOps Engineer with WordPress experience to join our existing team.

You can work from absolutely anywhere – we’ve got folks scattered around the world and a main office in Melbourne, Australia.

If you love building cloud services, are excited about taking on the infrastructure for Edublogs, one of the top five blog networks on the web, our CampusPress managed WordPress hosting service, and working with a crack crew at WPMU DEV – then this is for you.

In this role, you’ll be migrating large and complex WordPress sites of well known organizations to our hosting environments. You’ll work collaboratively with software developers to deploy and operate our systems. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. You will build and maintain tools for testing, deployment, monitoring and operations. And you will troubleshoot and resolve issues in our various dev, test and production environments.

You’ll be managing on a day-to-day basis our extensive systems across Amazon Web Services, Peer1, Digital Ocean, Cloudflare and beyond, ensuring insanely good uptime, staggering speeds, ridiculous redundancy and demonstrating and developing your high-performance, high-throughput website operation experience.

In return (and if outside Australia) we’ll offer the security of a full time contract, 20 days paid leave every year, long service leave and we’ll even take you on an all expenses paid international company trip every few years (last one was to NYC, looking at the next one in late ’17 or early ’18).

Come and work with us for the chance to push the envelope with what WordPress can do, to be in at the start of some incredible projects and to enjoy your work more than you previously ever thought was possible. Promise.

WordPress Plugin Developers

We’re looking for at least two WordPress plugin developers to work with us full time doing challenging, interesting, cool new stuff.

You can work from absolutely anywhere – we’ve got an awesome team of 60 odd people scattered around the world with a main office in Melbourne, Australia.

You’ll be working on both new and existing plugins and services for WPMU DEV members. There’s also the opportunity to work with Edublogs, CampusPress and on other projects such as Upfront.

You should be very skilled with PHP and Javascript and have significant previous experience with WordPress, primarily as a development platform. You should also have a good grasp of SQL (MySQL in particular) and Git, as that’s what we use for team collaboration.

Promise.
