🔒 Lock

A locked (closed) padlock, used either in the real world to secure an object; or as a symbol of security or SSL certificate on the web.

Fun fact: This lock emoji does not show in the title bar of Safari, presumably to prevent less-reputable sites pretending to be secure (SSL) when they are not.

Lock was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010.
