These release notes are for the following products:

Note: While PayPal updates its code regularly to add features and correct problems, this API version number is updated only if there are changes to the interfaces or the behavior of this API. When there is a new API release, the WSDL version reflects the latest code version, which is why the API versions appear to skip numbers (e.g., there are no API releases associated with code releases 118).
The current API version is specified in the PayPalSvc.wsdl and applies to these API products:

Adaptive Accounts uses a major, minor, and maintenance versioning scheme, consisting of three period-separated numbers (e.g., 1.8.1), each with a unique implication:
- First digit indicates the major release version — Major releases contain changes that are not backward compatible.
- Second digit indicates the minor release version — Minor releases consist of feature additions or behavior changes that are backward compatible.
- Third digit indicates the maintenance release version — Maintenance releases are used to correct smaller issues. Maintenance releases have minimal impact on the features or functionality of the API. These changes may or may not have associated schema changes.
