Nobody does political commentary/satire better than Jon Stewart. But I have to say that he looks wonderful and it certainly seems as if retirement agrees with him.
I love you mom, and as everything in my life changes around me, for the good, for the bad, and everything in between, I will always love you. Even as I change, from my tastes and my styles, I’ll always love the things we loved together. I love to write because of you, I love to create, I love to protect, I love to destroy and I love to love.
Just like my mother.
My 18 year old son…in a Mother’s Day letter to me… (via laterovaries)
We went to an 11AM movie, so it wasn’t busy, and we were just standing there waiting for @cinderella1181‘s oreo churros to be made, and I look over and I’m like, “Huh, that looks like Kevin Smith.”
Of course, we’re in Arizona, so it’s like, why the heck would Kevin Smith be in Arizona on a random Saturday in May? So I thought it was just a look alike. It’s happened to be me before–think I see someone famous, but I’m wrong. But he was wearing the baseball cap and team jersey trademark look, so I looked at Joy and I whispered, “Joy! Is that Kevin Smith?”
She very slowly turned around, caught a glimpse of him at the gelato place (yes, theater has a gelato bar), turns back to me says, “That is in fact Kevin Smith.”
And then we realized he’s in town for a comedy club engagement, supposedly with Jason Mewes–who we didn’t see, but he may have been there.
We didn’t want to bother him–I have a weird thing about bothering celebs and stuff outside of their normal work parameters–but it was cool to see him, after the show, standing with a bunch a people and just geeking out about Civil War and other things. This was his second time seeing it.
But that’s the story about how I shared the same airspace with Silent Bob.
It was really just one of those cool random life moments.
@hashtag-genius get ready darling! And it will be my commission again :)
Que tal si jugamos a adivinar quien será el próximo?
@catedevalois my bet goes to Benedick. Directed by Kenneth Branagh at the Garrick theatre. I also see Ken playing Don Pedro.
@damageditem nice production/re-adaptation of MAAN would be a dream. On stage, yes! I also need to see him in Othello, and as Othello (I know - but I have to see his Act III - I just have to, though that won’t happen)… Remember the whole Richard II/Ivory project? that could be it… and, not that I have been thinking about this at all in the last day or so, if it’s film, how about an edgy production with him playing more that one character, a la Cymbeline, cause I am greedy like that.
All of them, Thomas, after you repent. All of them.
