Arthrex Streamlines Document Processing with Acrobat DC
Minimally invasive orthopedic surgery pioneer Arthrex keeps users of its more than 8,500 products and procedures up-to-date with help from Adobe Acrobat DC in Adobe Document Cloud. As Arthrex creates instructional materials such as brochures, manuals, videos, websites, and e-mail newsletters, the company maintains editorial integrity using Acrobat DC.
In just four weeks, Arthrex launched Adobe Document Cloud for PDF document workflows and web-based signature collection and tracking. Teams that review and approve materials simply open an e-signature overview page, select the document needing approval and a release form, add recipients’ e-mail addresses, and then hit send to initiate the signing process.
“Our workflows involve highly coordinated efforts that often include ten—or perhaps twice as many people—working on document creation,” says Judith Kaiser, Marketing Supervisor, Digital Media, Marketing Communications, Arthrex. “Processes that took four weeks prior to the implementation of Acrobat DC can now be completed in four days or less.”
Document Cloud also helps simplify storage and compliance auditing while reducing printing costs and paper consumption. The marketing team’s success with Adobe Acrobat DC is now leading to interest in adding e-signatures throughout Arthrex.
