Autodesk follows Privacy by Design principles that govern the treatment of data owned by or under the control of Autodesk from a privacy perspective. This approach applies worldwide, and is reflected across the company, including, in product and service development plans, business plans, and in day-to-day operations.
We follow the company’s Privacy Principles and perform privacy impact assessments related to situations where personal or behavioral data is collected or used.
We also provide companywide privacy training for all employees and contingent workers, as well as role, and issue specific trainings in targeted areas.
All of our employees, contingent workers, and subsidiaries are required to abide by our Privacy Statement. They must also adhere to more detailed internal policies regarding Autodesk’s overall data protection requirements and Privacy Principles:
In May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes effect. It introduces obligations that will impact companies around the world. The GDPR is a European Union regulation that seeks to harmonize existing data protection laws across Europe and is designed to strengthen data protection rules for the processing of personal data of EU residents including the transfer of personal data outside the EU.
We are committed to incorporating the GDPR’s core principles and requirements into our global privacy and data protection program. We have conducted internal assessments to evaluate our readiness to meet and maintain our obligations under the law. For more information on our GDPR compliance efforts, take a look at our FAQs.
