Since 2003, the At-Large Advisory Committee developed over 300 documents – including statements, comments, correspondences, proposals, briefings, declarations, and formal advice – on ICANN policies and issues impacting Internet users. ICANN Evolution
Discusses the transition of US Government Stewardship of the IANA function in relation to the discussions taking place in other fora such as the ICG, RIR, IETF, ISOC and IAB spaces. Also focuses on discussion and progress in the CCWG on Enhancing ICANN Accountability
IDN Policy
Addresses challenges and promotes knowledge regarding the implementation of Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) in the Root Zone.
New gTLDs
Follows developments related to the implementation of New gTLDs and reviews the New gTLD Objection Process, Applicant Support issues, Outreach and Evaluation Recommendations, and New gTLD Rollout issues.
Public Interest
Discusses issues related to the public interest in the context of ICANN and the manner in which end users are impacted.
Registration Issues
Reviews the entire scope of the Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA), looks at the challenges faced by Registrants, and seeks to make recommendations to mediate those challenges.
Technical Issues
Focuses on the stability, safety, and security of Domain Name System (DNS) and covers issues such as DNSSEC, DNS Exploitation Techniques, and the implementation of IPv6.
