Create a secure space for your engineering team to ask and answer questions about anything that needs to stay private.

Stack Overflow for Teams is a place for you and your technical team to ask and answer proprietary questions in a secure environment.

Reduce single-source-of-information bottlenecks by sharing any dev’s technical knowledge with every dev on your team.

We know the pain of having just one or two senior devs who have all the answers. Their time is monopolized by the need to help other devs do their jobs. Offload the Q&A to your private Team and give those devs back all that time.

Make it easy to find solutions to technical problems.

Keeping all of your engineering documentation and knowledge easily accessible is hard. Stack Overflow is built to be a living, evolving Q&A with no stale information. Our platform is searchable and knowledge is always discoverable.

Keep your team’s knowledge on the website they’re already visiting.

Stack Overflow for Teams is a familiar experience: over 95% of the world’s developers use Stack Overflow to learn and grow their technical skills. Put important institutional knowledge where your teammates already are.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I be sure that this is private and my information is secure?

The security of your data is a top priority for us. Each Teams's data is secured in its own container, isolated from all other Teams and all public sites. Each Team also has dedicated backend security.

How much does it cost?

Nothing, yet. We’re still building this product and are focused on providing the best experience for our users. We’ll be inviting select teams to a private (free) beta, and once we’re confident that it’s a polished experience, we’ll address what we'll charge for the priced tier.

Is this only for companies or can my (university/local meetup group/other org) use it too?

For now, we’re focused on serving developers within companies, but hope to eventually expand this product to other types of groups and organizations. We want to know how much interest there is in other use cases, so even if you’d use it for something else, please let us know.

Um, can I have this… now?!

We’re actively seeking companies that would like to participate in the beta. Submit your info here to let us know that you’re interested.
