Welcome to the Photo Effects Cookbook forum. As the author of the book itself it’s my hope that we can build a real community here. If you’re into Photoshop and digital imaging then this is the place to be. I’ll be here to answer your questions and maybe even help you out with Photoshop when you need it. Tim, after going through just a few of your tutorials on natural phenomena, I am beginning to see a greater awareness growing within as to how I might apply your use of Blending Layers, styles and photoshop built in filters in ways I had not even considered before.
Your book, easy to follow, doesn't over complicate things, and area that I had never explored, or considered useless for my needs when using photoshop, are becoming an intricate part of my creative daily work flow.
Thank you for opening my eyes and mind to the unexplored world of photoshop.

I'm so pleased you're enjoying the book. It still gives me a thrill to hear news of people benefiting from my work. I must say, the weather effect images you posted there are very good indeed! Hope you continue to enjoy the book. I'm hoping this forum will become quite a meeting place very soon, even though we're rather slim on members at the moment!

Hello, I just bought PS CS3 PHoto Effects Cookbook, and tried to access the file examples as indicated on the flyleaf. I was not successful. "Response denied" was the message when I clicked on the zip file. Please advise how to find the image file examples.
