Steven B. Ambrose, 48, is vice president and chief information officer at DTE Energy (NYSE: DTE), a Detroit-based diversified energy company involved in the development and management of energy-related businesses and services nationwide. Ambrose is responsible for securing, operating, and applying the company’s information technology assets toward achieving the company’s strategic objectives. Prior to his current role, Ambrose was director of Enterprise Performance Management where he was responsible for the oversight of corporate performance, and served as the chief of staff to the CEO where he coordinated various corporate-wide initiatives. Ambrose joined Detroit Edison in 1998 and served in a variety of progressively more responsible information technology (IT) roles including the oversight of the company’s enterprise business systems, the IT operations of DTE Energy’s non-utility affiliates, and the stewardship of the company’s IT strategy and enterprise architecture. Ambrose earned an MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, a master’s certificate in management information systems from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bellevue College.

He joined Hershey in August 2014 after a distinguished 28 year career with Procter & Gamble where he led Global Business Services and Information Technology for P&G North America. Carlos has had extensive international experience having lived in three countries and travelled extensively across five continents. His assignments have spanned Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and HR. He created a new Innovation and Incubation organization and led major Big Data, Analytics and other IT initiatives. Carlos earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and an MBA from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Carlos serves on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic IT Executive Council.

Brad Arkin is Vice President and Chief Security Officer for Adobe. As CSO, Arkin has ultimate responsibility for all security-related decisions and investments across the company. Arkin leads the teams responsible for the security of Adobe’s infrastructure, products and services, as well as teams dedicated to security incident response and communication, including Adobe Secure Software Engineering Team (ASSET), Product Security Information Response Team (PSIRT), Security Coordination Center (SCC) and Engineering Infrastructure Security team. Rio Tinto group CIO Simon Benney has over 25 years of experience in senior management in global organizations, business transformation and strategic consulting. From 2008 until joining Rio Tinto in 2014, Mr. Benney was with ArcelorMittal, where he established and ran the shared services division in Europe and served as CIO for Flat Carbon Europe, a $35-billion ArcelorMittal business. In 2006, he was nominated a senior vice president of EADS, where he was responsible for creating an IT shared service for the EADS group. In 2002, he joined Airbus as head of IT strategy; as global CIO from 2004, he managed the company’s global IT delivery and operations with a budget of over $1 billion and an internal staff of 1,100. Mr. Benney started his career in 1986 as an electronic engineer with the GEC Avionics group in the United Kingdom. He later joined Arthur Andersen in London before joining McKinsey & Company in Italy. Steve is executing on a strategy to embrace the rapid changes in the Healthcare Industry and leverage new technology trends to drive operational excellence and innovation across the company’s key business segments: Group, Government and Retail. In addition, Steve is implementing a new IT operating model and comprehensive roadmap to fuel HCSC’s future direction and growth. Prior to joining HCSC, Steve served as Global Chief Information Officer for Aon PLC. Through his leadership, technology played an increasing role in Aon’s go-to-market strategy. He led the IT integration programs for the two largest acquisitions in Aon’s history—Benfield in 2008 and Hewitt Associates in 2010. In addition, Steve spearheaded a multi-year rationalization program which simplified Aon’s application portfolio and core technology footprint. Prior to joining Aon, Steve served as a management consultant leading numerous large-scale business-driven technology implementations in the financial services sector and other industries for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Michael Brown joined ExxonMobil in 1980 as a process engineer at the former Mobil Corporation Paulsboro, NJ, Refinery. He has held several managerial positions at theJoliet,IL, andBeaumont,TX, refineries. In 1996, Mike joined the Houston Gas Liquids group as General Manager of North America Gas Liquids, responsible for theU.S.,Mexicoand business development for South America andCanada. Mr. Brown’s next position was to lead the business process reengineering and SAP rollout for the U.S.-based Upstream, Downstream and Global Chemical assets of Mobil Corporation. Following the merger of Exxon and Mobil in 1999, Mr. Brown led a comparable effort for the combined company. In 2002, Mr. Brown was named Refinery Manager at the Baytown, TX, Refinery and then returned to Houston in 2005 as the GTL Project Executive for ExxonMobil Development Company. In January 2006 he was assigned Executive Assistant to Exxon Mobil’s Chairman inIrving,Texas. In October 2006 Mr. Brown was named Vice President Refining, assuming responsibility for Exxon Mobil’s worldwide refinery circuit. Tony Buttrick joined Flagstar Bank in March 2014 as chief information officer. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that support Flagstar’s strategic vision, while improving cost effectiveness, service quality, and business development. Prior to Flagstar, Tony spent 10 years with Bank of America in Charlotte, NC and held several technology and risk management executive positions, each with global responsibility. Prior to joining Bank of America, Tony spent 3 years with Fidelity Investments in a CIO role in Charlotte, NC, and 23 years total with the US Navy. He served 16 years on active duty in various special operations and intelligence assignments and 7 years as a DOD employee with the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington, DC. While working in the U.S. intelligence community, he served in multiple roles to include; leading the U.S. government’s most state-of-the-art imaging facility, imaging technical advisor to the Central Intelligence Agency, and Chief Technical Officer for the Digital Production Program Office. Bob Casale is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). Bob has accountability for the oversight of information technology at MassMutual and its worldwide subsidiaries, equipping employees with the technology and tools they need to support policyholders and help achieve MassMutual’s business objectives. He is also directly accountable for enterprise-wide technology operations, solutions delivery for the U.S. Insurance Group and corporate units, data management, information and cyber security, enterprise continuity planning, overall IT governance and the research and development of emerging technology solutions. Over his career, Bob has worked across multiple businesses and industries. His broad experience and extensive understanding of technology, business operations and infrastructure, enabled him to drive the direction and implementation of the company’s “modernization vision”. This effort has enabled MassMutual to excel in the marketplace and positioned the company for continued growth. Most recently, Bob led the IT Effectiveness Transformation (ITE), a holistic initiative aimed at enabling tighter business alignment. Karen previously worked for The Hartford Insurance Group in Hartford, CT. She joined the company in 2006 and held multiple CIO positions in the P&C and Wealth Management businesses. Prior to leaving The Hartford, Karen held the position of CIO for the Wealth Management businesses and VP of Service Operations. She also acted as a corporate auditor and liaison for HLIKK Japan, a subsidiary of The Hartford. In this role he was responsible for the organization’s technology strategy, delivery, transformation programs and digital products. Mr. Cheesbrough led enormous change at the company, moving it to more cloud-based technologies and putting innovation and engineering at the heart of the business. Before joining News International, Mr. Cheesbrough served as Chief Information Officer at the Telegraph Media Group, where he pioneered the development of a wide range of new digital products. Anil Cheriyan is Chief Information Officer for SunTrust Banks, Inc. He is responsible for SunTrust’s Enterprise Information Services (EIS) division, the organizational unit that provides the company’s overall technology, operations and information-related support. Prior to joining SunTrust in April 2012, Cheriyan was senior partner at IBM Global Business Services, where he has served financial services industry clients and led a variety of business systems transformation, technology and process re-engineering initiatives. Before joining IBM in 2002, he was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and served in increasingly responsible leadership roles on a variety of systems, customer information, data warehousing and e-business engagements. Previously he was a senior consultant with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and information services manager for TVS Clayton, Ltd. As Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at SAS, Keith Collins heads the Information Technology and Technical Support Divisions and leads the company’s cloud strategy. Prior to being named CIO, Collins was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at SAS, where he headed Research and Development. He has been instrumental in guiding SAS’ evolution as a provider of industry-specific solutions that deliver the benefits of powerful analytic technologies into the hands of users. Collins steered the effort to develop the company’s breakthrough SAS® Business Analytics Framework that redefined business intelligence as it is known today. In 2006, Collins established SAS’ CIO Customer Advisory Board (CAB). The CAB successfully brings together CIOs and CTOs from some of the world’s top companies to provide input about the business impact of current and future IT technologies and inform the company’s strategy. Collins is a graduate of North Carolina State University in computer science, and a founding member of the strategic advisory board of the department of computer science. In 2003, the university named him a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus. Collins is an advisor for Bull City Venture Partners.

Creighton Warren is the Chief Information Officer at USG Corporation, a leading manufacturer and distributor of building product solutions. In 2014, his leadership team received the Most Effective IT Team award sponsored by the Chicagoland chapters of the Society of Information Management (SIM) and Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP). He joined USG in 2003 and was accountable for the IT portion of major (> $150 MM) customer satisfaction initiative involving the company wide deployment of Oracle eBusiness Suite across fifty plus manufacturing facilities. Immediately prior to his current role, he was Senior Director, Technology – Information Technology at USG Corporation, responsible for the Application, Architecture, and Operations organizations. Mr. Warren started his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and was a manager in the firm’s Network Solutions consulting practice. He moved to Heller Financial, a middle market commercial lender, where he was Vice President Information Technology responsible for Major Projects and eCommerce Technology Strategy. While at Heller, he successfully led Heller’s largest IT investment in over 10 years, an enterprise-wide technology architecture and integration initiative. As a result of that project, he was recognized as one of the Top 5 IT project managers in North America with the receipt of the 1998 Project Leadership Award sponsored by ABT Corporation. Prior to joining USG, Mr. Warren worked at a B2B Internet startup, Commerx, often recognized by its flagship marketplace Plasticsnet.com, as well as a small Chicago based consulting firm. He earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and his MM with a concentration in Finance and Strategy from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. He lives outside Chicago with his wife Michele and their three children.

During a diverse 25-plus year career, Steve Crowley has embraced emerging technologies to help companies improve productivity, grow revenues, and improve customer satisfaction. In particular, he has worked to fundamentally change the way people and organizations move money and transfer payments around the globe. As WEX’s shared services and chief information officer, Steve is responsible for the company’s global client operations teams, the information technology platforms and the company’s program office. He is also charged with integrating acquisitions, systems, processes, and best practices across WEX’s businesses. Prior to joining WEX, Steve held several senior leadership positions at Bank of America, where he helped lead the transformation of the bank’s ATM, online, and web payment and transfer systems. Steve has also held senior positions at NCR Corporation and General Electric, where he led teams developing healthcare, transportation, and financial service innovations, and gained experience in engineering technology, call center systems, manufacturing operations, and continuous improvement. Steve serves on the University of Southern Maine’s computer science advisory board. Craig A. Cuyar is the Global Chief Information Officer of Cushman & Wakefield, a commercial real estate services provider with operations in 63 countries. He is based in New York, New York, and has global responsibility for Cushman & Wakefield’s Information Technology strategy and operations. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2008, Craig served as a CIO for fourteen years in a variety of professional services industries including healthcare, advertising, and residential and commercial real estate. Craig holds Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Finance from the Rutgers Business School. Dr. Cuyar is an adjunct faculty member at Columbia University and teaches in their Executive Technology Management program. Dick Daniels is interim chief information officer (CIO) for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan, Inc. In this role, Daniels is responsible for the ongoing leadership of Kaiser Permanente’s Information Technology vision, strategy and execution. Daniels reports directly to Bernard J. Tyson, chairman and chief executive officer, and is a member of the national executive team. Prior to Daniels’ appointment to the role of interim chief information officer, Daniels served as senior vice president of Enterprise Shared Services, which includes End User Services, National Facilities Services and National Pharmacy Operations. Daniels joined Kaiser Permanente in May of 2008 as Kaiser Permanente’s Information Technology senior vice president and business information officer of Health Plan and Hospital Operations. In that role, he was accountable for developing the strategy and ensuring the delivery of innovative, leading-edge capabilities that drive Kaiser Permanente’s technology agenda, in partnership with, and supporting all business areas. Leading a diverse team that included the Regional Business Information Organizations, National Facilities IT, Pharmacy IT, Enterprise Architecture, Information Management and Innovation, Consulting and Analytics and IT Compliance, he was accountable for the strategic alignment across regional and national IT initiatives and the regional implementation of all national IT projects. Daniels has more than 30 years of shared services and information technology leadership experience. Before joining Kaiser Permanente, he served as senior vice president and divisional CIO for Capital One. In addition, as senior vice president at JPMorgan Chase, he was responsible for maintenance and support for all investor services business applications globally. Daniels’ broad experience in large, diversified organizations is key to Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan successfully embedding a shared services approach that reaches across the program to improve service delivery, increase efficiency, and improve affordability. Daniels has a bachelor’s of applied arts and sciences degree from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University). In her position, Julia oversees the day-to-day operations and the strategic initiatives of Aflac’s Information Technology Division. Before joining Aflac, she most recently served as chief information officer at American Safety Insurance (ASI). Prior to her tenure at ASI, she served as chief information officer of the Equipment Finance Division for GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services and GE Capital Business Productivity Solutions. Additionally, she held IT leadership positions at GE Energy, Armstrong World Industries, Information Builders, Ogden Government Services and CRSS Services, Inc. Julia began her career in the U.S. Air Force as a software engineer and earned the rank of captain. He is responsible for driving Unisys’ technology business, utilizing his board experience in product development, services, government and entrepreneurship. Tarek leads a global technology delivery organization with deep expertise in designing and developing powerful, secure and reliable products that address an organization’s most pressing IT and business challenges through fast-evolving technologies and delivery models – from cloud and mobility to big-data analytics and high-end servers. As chief technology officer, Tarek ensures that Unisys delivers the most innovative products and software-led services offerings, using both Unisys proprietary technologies and third-party software solutions. Tarek was most recently chief operating officer of Remedy Informatics; a market leader in technology innovation in healthcare and life sciences. Before Remedy, Tarek served a three-year global appointment in Egypt, where he was the chairman and CEO of Egypt National Post and CEO of the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Egypt. Tarek was previously vice president of Global Product Support for Oracle Corporation, managing a $5 billion business with more than 4,500 employees in 60 countries worldwide. Earlier, he held founding and senior leadership positions at software companies Datacme Corporation and TenFold Corporation after prior work at IBM’s global research centers. Tarek has served on the boards of directors and advisors of several high-tech companies and non-profit organizations. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, panels, conferences and colloquia. Tarek holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Mr. Fasano joined AIG in October 2014 from Kaiser Permanente, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He has extensive experience leading information technology programs at complex global companies, is a proven leader in the information technology field, and has served as Chief Information Officer at several high-profile financial services firms over the course of his 30-year career. During his tenure at Kaiser Permanente, the largest not-for-profit health plan and health care provider in the United States, Mr. Fasano drove the substantial turnaround of their broad technology capabilities, including implementing KP Health Connect, the world’s largest civilian medical record system. He also conceived and executed Kaiser’s digital health strategy, including the launch of consumer-focused mobile applications as well as mobile platforms used by the clinical staff. Prior to his role at Kaiser Permanente, Mr. Fasano founded Capital Sourcing Group in 2005, a company focused on providing strategic advice and consulting services to the Fortune 500 and the Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Fasano has also served in IT leadership roles at financial services organizations. At Capital One Financial, he was the Business Information Officer; he served as Chief Information Officer at JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Financial Services; and was a Managing Director at Bankers Trust, among other companies.

As managing director, chief information officer, Victor Fetter has oversight of the LPL Financial Business Technology Services business unit. He is responsible for bringing to life the company’s commitment to investing in the people and processes necessary to deliver the best technologies and technology experience in the industry for LPL Financial advisors and employees. Prior to joining LPL Financial in 2012, Mr. Fetter was vice president and chief information officer for Dell Online, where he led the digital transformation of Dell’s approach to providing global, multi-channel solutions for consumers and commercial customers. His accomplishments include driving IT efficiency with a focus on increased innovation, delivering highly scalable infrastructure solutions, and enhancing sales and corporate systems—including the architecture of global online, mobile, and social commerce capabilities. Earlier, Mr. Fetter worked at Mercer Human Resource Consulting, where he served as director of global applications development, chief information officer, and ultimately global chief information officer during his tenure. He held previous positions at Hewitt Associates LLC and Electronic Data Systems. Mr. Fetter has a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL.

In this role, he is driving GE’s global Information Technology (IT) strategy, services and operations, and aggressively delivering innovative and transformational solutions for GE, its customers and employees. A global IT leader with 20 years of IT experience, including 15 years with several diverse GE businesses, Jim comes to this role from GE Capital, where he served as CIO since 2014 and was responsible for developing and delivering simple and consistent global business processes digitized through IT. Prior to GE, he held IT roles with NCR and Accenture. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, as well as an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Marc Frons is the Deputy Head of Technology and SVP, Global Head of Mobile Platforms at News Corp. Prior to joining News Corp. in October 2015, he was the CIO and CTO of The New York Times, where he was responsible for all technology strategy, operations and product development at the company. Mr. Frons is recognized as one of the leading innovators in digital media. He started his career as a journalist, a background that gives him unique insight into the capabilities for digital publishers. He was a reporter and editor at Newsweek and a senior editor at BusinessWeek before leaving there in 1995 to start the financial Web site SmartMoney.com, where he held the title editor and chief technology officer. SmartMoney.com was an early pioneer in interactive journalism and data visualization, and won several awards for its innovative technology and design. Rich Mendola, Ph.D., MBA, is the Enterprise Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice Provost for Library Services and Digital Scholarship for Emory University. When Rich arrived at Emory in 2005, his charge was to create more synergy and innovation across all of the academic and healthcare information technology (IT) functions that existed at Emory. Rich and his leadership consolidated the major University IT functions and created new research IT, information security and information architecture units. Working with the major divisions and schools within Emory, duplicative commodity IT services were reduced or eliminated, freeing up capacity for more innovation and mission-driven activities. Rich and his leadership team also worked to better leverage the University and Healthcare IT partnership. The academic and clinical areas at Emory share common networks, voice systems, data centers, storage platforms, email and communication systems and information security functions. Across the two domains, the data management groups work closely to leverage clinical data for research and to promote discovery in Emory’s clinical trials. Efforts remain underway to create additional common enterprise services. In 2013, Rich was asked to broaden the scope of his leadership to include the Emory libraries. As part of that organizational change, a new Emory Center for Digital Scholarship (ECDS) was also created. With new leadership now in place for the both the libraries and ECDS, the combined organization is poised to fully embrace a more digital future while building on Emory’s libraries many existing strengths. Other current priorities include leveraging cloud and mobile technologies; introducing more data analytics across the enterprise, and helping the institution address new demands for online learning. Prior to assuming his current position, Rich spent ten years at the University of Illinois, first as CIO of the UIC Medical Center, and then as Associate VP of Administrative IT for the University of Illinois three-campus system, a role in which he was the executive responsible for the successful implementation of a single ERP system across the entire University of Illinois system. In addition to his administrative roles, Rich has served as a faculty member in the health sciences at the University of Illinois and the University of Connecticut.
