Update is horrible! Why is there camera bar now?! Every time I try to type it always brings it up and it lags whenever I want to put emojis on my text its annoying. Its still boring either way and bright as sunlight. New update with video chat now crashes every time making it useless to use. Uninstalling

Great app, but many bugs I love Kik for its simple chat features (and the easy gif finder) and I've used it for many years. However, the store simply does not work for me anymore and will always come up with an 'Oops' message, never mind how many times I press reload. This is also on the bot finder, but not on the sticker store, and has been a bug for about 4 months now. If you could fix that and let me buy more emoji things, that would be great and would be an easy 4/5 stars.

BEST MESSENGER APP EVER This app is great for messaging your friends or family. The updates for the app just keeps getting better and better than the last. I can now video chat and its easier for me to find my friends.I recommend this app for people qho are looking for a messenger app that does more than that. Trust me you will LOVE IT.

Was close to perfect, new update not anymore I love kik, I loved everything it offered and didn't offer. But now after the update, every time I try and hit send, I hit that 9 squares icon which is where the send button used to be. I much much much prefer the + that used to be there. Maybe make it an option for the users? I prefer more screen to read messages instead of more buttons ready for use in one tap.

New update makes the UI pretty bad The app functions fine for the most part. Hashtag groups have yet to be readded, but that's another story. The latest update adds a few UI changes that aren't so good. First of all, the bubbles are too rounded, and there's no way to make them how they used to be. Now when you open a thread, everything is white, which is painful to look at. The smileys have been moved to a more inconvenient spot is another thing. The scroll bar is also gone, which is stupid. Every other app has the thing for a reason, fix it

The new update is terrible I love Kik, the original. But now with the new update it just lags every message and causes slow responses. Not to mention the constant spam fake accounts now from supposive "Kik associative" groups. I preferred the original... So I suggest anyone who hasn't updated, do not do it. Its not worth it at all.

Pretty good. Sometimes it crashes randomly on my S4. I like the video feature, but wish I could make the small chat bubble bigger. I also wish it wouldn't throw my video bubble off screen so I could see if my camera is still pointing where it should. It would be nice to be able to flip from my front camera to the back camera on my phone as well.

I don't like the new update. (Facecam) Everytime, I always press the wrong button. I was talking to my friend and I said I didn't want to show my face. But then I pressed the wrong button that was the facecam. So then I hid my phone and I couldn't turn it off until I finally had to show my face. Please just make the Facecam thing in their profile.

Video calling is useless This app is just ok now. The new iphone like interface is annoying considering that is one of the reasons I DIDN'T buy an iphone. Video calling is the most useless feature EVER. Why the hell would I want to see a tiny almost unviewable bubble of video? What is the point of sending texts if your talking to each other? There's no functionality to it at all! Good job making this app crappier with every update.

Video Chat was rushed It is a cool idea. However, I wish the screens were bigger. Also, they go over to the side so you can't see yourself. Lastly, you can't click off the screen. It's fun to talk on video chat but when you're on for awhile, u want to do other things on your phone too. Facebook messenger has all of these qualities.

Newest updates broke the app For several weeks now whenever I try to open a message from my lock screen, the app will stop responding and crash. Since this bug was introduced, I've reported it multiple times to Kik, but throughout a few updates the problem still hasn't been fixed. Along with that, the app now works incredibly slowly. This would be a 4/5 app if they would just fix these incredibly annoying problems already, but Kik doesn't seem interested in fixing anything.

What the hell? Okay seriously. You guys just keep making more and more easy to accidentally click buttons. CAN YOU NOT? I liked the small button where it'll bring up the menu with the other buttons. It was so much more convenient because this is literally just a mess of accidental clicks.

Use to be 5 but... Move the video chat option please. It's in an awkward place and I keep calling people when I don't mean to and it gets annoying... You could at least put in a call confirm button.

Privacy invasion Used kik for many years and now they have a new policy to invade your information and other things like look through phone pictures and contacts also your phones model and number don't use this app they changed for the worse. People don't fall for this unless you want to have your pictures and information sold anything private is not really private with this app and it is sad so say since I used to love kik. Also I'm not feeling the video chat I keep getting video calls from stupid spam bots and perverts.

Update Like the new update, the layout is really clean and nice. Wish the S,D,R was a little larger, or darker maybe, like the original, but I'll get used to it. Also, I really wish you would've kept the text box at the bottom, under the options. I'm going insane clicking those damn icons instead of the text box. Otherwise, great app. I have a lot of friends on here, from all over the world, and it's really nice.

New update I'm not a fan of the new update. The new layout makes it to easy to press the wrong thing. I keep all the new buttons instead of send and it's very annoying. Other than that its still my favorite app to use to talk to friends.

A great app but annoying video chat option I don't like the new video chat option, I always accidentally touch it so it makes it very annoying. If it was put to where you could go on someone's profile and REQUEST a video chat it would be a lot less annoying.

Please fix the video chat I love the app, however I just think that the video chat can be better. It's difficult to see the person I'm talking to because the circles in which they show up are small. Please make them larger, or full screen

I have a request for the Instant Messenger Gods... I love the new updates that are coming out. Who would've thought that Kik would have video chat? I love where the app is going and I can only assume its going to get better! My request is that you add some variation of audio feature to send short audio clips, and perhaps use the SoundCloud API to implement a player that shows up in the chat bubble where the link would normally be. This would eliminate the tedious task of clicking the link, waiting for it to load and listening in SoundCloud itself. It would also be great if you could bring back group hashtags, however with more options such as having a "request to join" feature etc. And finally, a night mode; I'm sure many people have requested this already, and for good reason. Thanks for your phenomenal service, and I, among many people, will be sure to keep using the app for years to come and see what you guys have in store for us!

The video chat problem I think y'all should fix the video chating a little bit more like lf it's two people only it should make the face time cameras more big so can see the person more instead of seeing them threw only a little circle~~

New update Loved kik in 2015, it was an amazing messenger. But now it's broken. Videos come in with no sound, tapping on notification doesn't open kik, and videos always fail to load. Oh and to top it off, it crashes on my phone which has never happened in the older versions. I will continue to use a modded version of kik because it is much better right now. It is sad when a app has to be modded in order to use it. Will give five stars if issues are fixed.

Update is nice but.. The video chat option is in an awkward place and I keep clicking it on accident ( Resulting in a bad angle of me D; ). Maybe move it? Or allow a second option to pop up to confirm it. Good update though I haven't had any other issues.

Video chat Okay, I love the idea of video chatting on Kik, like that makes everything so much easier! But I wish the video part was bigger than the two tiny circles it is right now, like if it took up half of the chat part or the size was customizable it would be dope.

Previous chat Why does it stop at a particular time and randomly not show you previous chat? There is no option to view previous chats.D emojis are not good enough. High time voice calls was introduced.

HATE VIDEO CHAT!!! Is there a way I can turn it off? I've accidentally pressed it before and I hate it! Will never use the feature, so small and weird.. Please have a "turn off" feature.

Great! One thing that's really bothering me, I have many pictures. We should have the option to open different folders. For example I have my pictures in separate folders and scrolling down all my pictures for one single item is frustrating. Do this and more optimization, then a 5 star from me.

NEW UPDATE It's great that you've included video chatting in Kik but the only inconvenient thing is the video chat button. You guys have put it up right in the corner where we used to click to see someone's username or dp(DP TBH 😂) but now we accidentally starts video chatting with the ones whom we don't even know. Better to put the video chat button somewhere else and bring back the old interface back. Thanks!

Liked older version. . have only had problems since all the updates. It use to be a fun way to chat n have offers. Now there's no offers and its been not working . ive reported it over 50 times at least. Not good. Fix these problems kik.!!
