Three Lively Liriope
Liriope are ideal for sprucing up difficult areas of the garden where little else grows. Coping with bouts of drought and poor drainage with ease, and requiring little or no maintenance, they offer the gardener an ever-present shape and form from their evergreen strap-like leaves and make a great subject for a perennial container. They look good all year round but from late August to late Novemeber they come to the forefront of the garden stage as they begin to flower and extend the season with interest and intrigue. The varieties chosen will form neat clumps of evergreen foilage with strong flowering spires that are festooned with hundreds of round conspicuous flowers. En masse, they create a lively show that rivals our native bluebells for magnificent carpets of colour. Height and spread 45cm.
