So there I was at the bar with my bros dog thirsty and dying to do some to stepping. The place was so packed the parking lot was literally like a Toby Keith concert. We finally got in and no crap Toby Keith was literally in there. Think hes a rap artist or something. So we went to the bar and it was literally like a job at a black friday best buy sell trying to grab drinks. We thought there was no way we would get served. Then drinks started appearing in our hands exactly wh…at we wanted magically. Jennifer Retzloff the bartender of bartenders was literally using her telekinesis to read our minds at exactly what we wanted to drink. Our drinks were out within about 30 seconds for all 20 of us, ordering different drinks, paying with different forms. Jennifer Retzloff then told our group the entire history of Whiskey River and how it was established by Sam Houston in the 1800s and how Santa Ana tried to overtake it after the Alamo. Making the Santa Ana Sangria one of there most popular drinks at the time and still to this day at Whiskey River. One of the best nights we had at the best Texas country bar ever with the best Texas country bartender Jennifer Retzloff.

Awesome staff all the way around. Ive been coming here since their grand opening and never a complaint. All of the bouncers are on point. Larry and Daniel you guys are awesome, the cleaning staff are very hard working and Nicholas always has a smile on his face, Sally at the beer tub is a sweetheart and keeps me coming back for those delicious Jell-O shots, DJ Brad always playing my song request, cocktail waitresses Celeste and Tiffany are awesome girls, and can't forget Jac…ob at the bull. He can turn a fun night into a great and memorable one with one ride on that thing. JW and the security officers are welcoming and always looking out for everyone. Photographer Lou is very talented and creative with his work. He take awesome quality photos and has captured a lot of great memories with family and friends. Great bartenders at every bar but my go to girl is Jennifer Retzloff. She's fast and knows how to take care of her customers. All I have to do is walk up and she already knows what I want and has it ready. Thank you whiskey river staff for all of ya'lls hard work and efforts to show your customers a good time and provide a fun and safe environment to come and hang out at.

I love going to whiskey river on the weekends! It's a great place to meet people and have a good time. If you don't know how to two step trust me everyone there is so nice that they will show you how and you will have a blast! One of my main reasons I go is for the amazing bartender Laura she makes you feel special and she makes amazing drinks! Laura is the best!

5 stars for Sally at the beer tub. Fastest beer slinger in that land, and looks amazing doing it. Quite the dancer too. Great customer service and you can tell she loves her job.
Also a big shout out to Howard, Mel and Tracey at the bar nearest Sally and Jen W in the back. Some of the best bartenders and consistent great customer service I've ever seen.

Tonight Whiskey River decided to be dicriminitive, prejudice, or straight up unprofessional by not allowing my Hispanic friend in because they said he had a Texans tattoo. That was the only reason they gave us and wouldn't let him in. I have reported this to KHOU and hope you guys think about discrimination like this again. I will never give these guys business again! This coming from a straight up white country boy who used to frequent your stupid establishment.

Always a fun time, the music is great and there's a Mix Crowd & Lot's of people. The bartenders do a very good job I Never had to wait too long for my drinks the Indoor dance-floor and outdoor patio/dance-floor are always packed and there's Tacos at the exit at closing time!

I'm a U.S. soldier who came down here for the labor day weekend and was denied Entry because of my half sleeve tattoo. Not gang related nor promotes violence. Waste of time that I will not get back. Maybe, next time management should pay more attention to the red shirts at the door.

I love this place! It's one of the best boot scooting places to go! And to top it off, Tracy is the best bartender! She makes you feel so much at home and has the prettiest smile on her face all the time!

Really enjoy this place great environment good music and Jennifer Lynn makes it even better an always cheerful and as soon as she see me know what i want its like she could read my mind. she actually the main reason why I always go back she's amazing

Well ima African American goin into ah 97% white bar, with nothing but Black security officers Lol. The atmosphere wuz Cool.... Only problem I had wuz tht tha security at tha entrance Wanted to Read and Shine there Flash Light at my Tattoos like I wuz just getting processed in to Prison (Real Akward Moment)... And tha Super Country Black Cop posing as Security wuz really wanting me to Trip with him, but I didn't..

But yeah if my friends have another get together there I Will Not Be Back... And im Sure Whisky River Wouldn't care at all Lol...........
