A fairly decent flickr app, it's easy to use and generally works very well. Still plenty of room for improvement though and features missing that are available via a browser. Images are often slow to load up, or just fail to do so on mobile data (other flickr apps don't have a problem). Better caching of images and being able to store offline. Adding description / people during upload. Being able to manually mark/geotag a location on a map. Finally an update! Last one was months and months ago.

Love everything about Flickr,but...the backup/sync has continually run for the last several days even though a photos are there. When you click on the backup/sync circle it shows 3 of 4 photos backing up but freezes there. there's no way to see where or which photo isn't loading properly.Unlike Onedrive or even google photos,which show photo by photo as they are being backed up and when there's a problem you can stop the upload and or remove the photo that's causing the problem.

Something has gone wrong since yesterday. Same issues as other users. I'm getting endless notifications. In addition, I don't get notifications on replies to my comments. I get the notification symbol, but can't see the notification. Something isn't right. App was fine until now. I have now removed the app from my tablet and phone until problem is resolved. This is so frustrating

It's fine if you don't care about photo quality but I think most on Flickr do. The website has helped me get into photography. After buying a dslr I couldn't understand why my nice pics came out looking funny until I realized the app was shrinking the file size significantly. Just use the website if you want your pictures to look nice

You Can't do much with your photos by using this app. You can't edit them or download the full size or share the required size. I don't know why yahoo are acting so much pompous and stupid about their Flickr. Reminds me of Nokia. The world sailed off towards Instagram and other stuff, and they still think they are still a grand thing.

Oh no. Please don't bring in "tweaks" from the web updates This app wasn't great before, but this update has made it worse. Even after this update you still can't access discussions in groups, and commenting on photos is a chore because the text entry is seriously flawed and prone to frequent errors. Now with this update we are starting to get updates which match the terrible web updates. You see group activity in your feed. Very annoying. You can turn it off one group at a time but if you're in hundreds of groups, it's a real chore to disable each.

People behind Flickr are useless They make it so that you can't contact them WHATSOEVER with any issues. The help section on the website takes you round in circles. I have a problem with my own personal account but cannot contact them about it!!!! After checking the community forum by the sound of others postings staff think that its the users being idiots and Flickr is issue-less. They obviously do not care about their users at all, no wonder its free to use. And why so many people refuse to pay for the pro version.

Stop annoying notifications Now it's a problem to leave a message on a someone's picture because you get endless notifications and nothing you can do about it. You're shooting your own feet yahoo, nobody will comment, nobody will like pictures, like facebook is ruining itself.

Sharing is difficult Fast upload and great quality but difficult to share. Why do you have to have a yahoo account just to see a photo? My sister and others can't open my photos because it tells them to log in to yahoo to view photo... They don't have a yahoo account!!!

No groups - I have to go to Flickr via my browser to read discussions in the groups. Uploading often doesn't work - it will keep trying to upload the same picture over and over, and yet it never appears in my Photostream. It's not my signal or phone - I can upload fine to other apps. It seems like the upload fails every time I add a title or description to the photo. If I leave those fields empty, it uploads fine. It's good for browsing and downloading photos to your phone, but that's about it. 90% of the times I visit Flickr, the first thing I click on is GROUPS - and this app does not support groups, so I find myself using the browser on my phone more often than this app.

Just installed and cannot "Log in" or even "Get started". "Yahoo cannot log you in at this time." That sorta makes for a totally useless app, don't you think? Judging by other comments, issue won't go away anytime soon. Gotta uninstall.

Backwards Step I have loved the app and only had a few niggles, such as the location search via app being quite hit and miss. However, the new notification system ruins things for me. It was great seeing a notification and knowing I had a new fave, comment or follower for my work but now it seems to also relate to someone following on from my comment on someone else's photos. Hopefully this is an error and will be rectified soon, otherwise I might need to search out a 3rd party app, which would be a shame.

Love Flickr but the latest version is awful! You now get a notification whenever somebody else comments on a photo you've favourited or commented on. It's driving me crazy! Also I would nly used to get notifications if I'd been into Flickr that day, whereas now I get them regardless of whether I've been a no Flickr or not. Argh change it back please!

I am unable to see all my photos! I'd much rather see my pics as I have uploaded them versus what Flickr wants me to see via Camera Roll!

Thanks for ruining a perfectly functioning app. Can't upload from my HTC 1 M8. Never had a problem before the last update. The new interface is annoying to navigate.

Sign - out button needs to be reinstalled! Not everyone needs to be online 24/7 and actually wishes to sign out of the app completely. The removal of the red Sign Out button on Android App has made that option impossible. Please add that option back or tell me another way to sign out of the app if I so choose.

Flickr App Does everything i want it to without any issues at all. It does eat a lot of roming data which is more than a little annoying but the app works fine.

Notifications I get notifications whenever users request to add photos to my group (I think this is new and great) but you don't let me see/accept/reject the photos. Then why am I getting the notifications if I can't do anything?

No Flickr I don’t want to receive notifications when someone I don't know comments on a photo that isn't mine. I mean, I really don't want that. Fix please. I love Flickr. Until the update I loved the app. But this is uncool. You're discouraging commenting.

Uploader doesn't work at all. I have restarted using Flickr to store my camera roll. But, it did not upload. Please solve my problem. My phone is One plus 3. Failed uploading with Marshmallow and now Naugat. The issue is same

I dont have much patience on technical stuff apps and programes, so for me to use this with ease says alot on how straight forward it is to create an account and post ones pictures on. I can use the gallery on my device and I can just share my pictures directly from there and hey presto. ***However, ***the new update means I now get more notifications. I'm only interested in knowing if anyone has faved/commented on MY pictures- not everyone else's. So after a while it becomes annoying and Ive had to switch off the notifications off meaning I'm no longer able to keep uptp date with comments etc.(hence the 4 stars).

Notifications What up with getting notifications everytime someone comments on a photo that I commented on. It annoying and pointless. And scrolling fown my feed I would rather click o the groups individualy because I usually see the same pgotos more that once because of this. Why don't we have settings to change this stuff. We're stuck with whatever you give us and lots of people are not liking it.

Garbage Notifications Congratulations You are turning the Mobile App into garbage with endless, useless notifications. Make it an option to choose what notifications to get and also to choose the initial page.

Good I really like this app and i use it for keeping all my photos, however i would like to see the ability to view photos by entering a date when they were taken because currently i have to scroll through thousands of photos
