The Patriots were stopped from the 1 on each of their final 3 plays of the game. Prior to those plays they had scored 6 times on 10 snaps from the 1 this season.

Three triple-doubles now for Angry Russ, who missed two more by one dime, OKC, though, had won 20 games in a row in which RW triple-doubled.

Pete Carroll has to be ecstatic following the Seahawks' 31-24 win over the Patriots. Russell Wilson was brilliant, throwing for 348 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, and the offense scored on seven of nine possessions. The defense came up with a huge stop when it needed to, and Seattle now has a two-game lead in the NFC West.

Classic Patriots scheme. Bring heavy personnel into the game and shift Rob Gronkowski to a wide alignment. Have to expect the fade. And that's good leverage/technique from Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor. Stay square. Be physical. Hold your ground. That's a good no-call with Gronkowski initiating the contact. Seahawks get the 31-24 win.

Seattle still has never lost by more than 10 points in 83 games with Russell Wilson (D obviously a big factor there as well). Thought that streak could be in jeopardy playing at New England on a short week.

Seahawks beat Patriots 31-24. The ViewFromVegas is they did it as 7.5-point road underdogs and +290 on the money line, improving NFL Week 10 'dogs to 9-4 ATS with 8 outright upsets.

The Patriots lost to the Seahawks 31-24 in a rare home setback, as they lost the turnover battle and didn't rise up in the critical situations to the same level that Seattle did. It was a thoroughly entertaining game that will spark some questions in New England, mainly: Is this defense good enough to help the team reach its Super Bowl aspirations?

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

With the New England Patriots loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the Dallas Cowboys have the best record in the NFL at 8-1.

USC posted its biggest win of the season on Saturday and didn't have to wait long for a big win on the recruiting trail. The Trojans had been without a quarterback in this 2017 class, but landed their signal-caller when ESPN 300 quarterback Jack Sears flipped his commitment from Duke. Sears, the nation's No. 139 prospect and No. 8 pocket passer, attends the same high school that produced USC starting quarterback Sam Darnold. Sears is scheduled to enroll early at USC.

For the first time in NFL history, we've had two games in one day with at least seven lead changes, per the Elias Sports Bureau. So there's that. (Seahawks-Patriots and Cowboys-Steeers.)

That's another great throw from Russell Wilson. Touch pass down the seam to find Doug Baldwin for the score. And don't forget about Baldwin's ability to win on the release. That allowed the Seahawks WR to stack on top of the coverage. His third TD of the game. Seattle is now up 31-24 over the Patriots in the fourth quarter.

Seahawks are creating matchups for RB C.J. Prosise in the passing game. Fade from the slot for a explosive play and the quick rub route route to pick up the first down. Finding the matchups vs. the Patriots LBs.

NFL

Sheil Kapadia ESPN Writer

C.J. Prosise looks like someone who could have a huge impact on the Seahawks' offense in the second half of the season. The rookie is the team's leading rusher and receiver. He has 21 touches for 135 yards so far tonight. Prosise started this game in place of Christine Michael.

A thoroughly entertaining game heads to the fourth quarter with the Seahawks leading the Patriots, 22-21. But New England is driving after a beautiful 33-yard deep ball from Tom Brady that receiver Julian Edelman caught along the left sideline. Great throw. Great catch. Great game.

ESPN Stats and Information

The Warriors are 10-0 when Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry each score at least 30 points in a game. Curry, Thompson and Kevin Durant combined to score 89 points on Sunday, their 2nd-most in a game this season.

NBA

The good news for the Seahawks' offense is that it's produced points on five of seven possessions tonight. The bad news? On five red-zone trips, Seattle has scored touchdowns just twice.

NFL

The Patriots aligned in a slot formation on LeGarrette Blount's TD run. Force the CB to set the edge in the run front. And then lead with the FB. That created a clear path for Blount to bounce outside and put the ball in the end zone -- his third TD of the night. Patriots jump to a 21-19 lead over the Seahawks in the third quarter.

NFL

Mike Reiss ESPN Staff Writer

Patriots QB Tom Brady took a low hit from Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor in the third quarter and came up limping, but he stayed in the game. Chancellor was penalized for the play, and on the sideline after Brady led a TD drive, Brady received a visit from head athletic trainer Jim Whalen. Brady appears to have a compress of some sort on his right knee. He was seen flexing the knee during the drive.

Golden State Warriors defeat Phoenix Suns in a high-scoring affair, 133-120. Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry scored 30 points each. Kevin Durant went for 29 and nine boards. Draymond Green registered 14 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists.

The Patriots trail the visiting Seahawks 19-14 at halftime and the heat is being turned up on the team's defense, which has been on the field for 40 snaps and has not consistently been able to slow down quarterback Russell Wilson and Co. If not for two red-zone stops, the Seahawks could be leading by double-digits and they get the ball to open the second half after deferring when winning the opening coin toss. Wilson has been excellent.

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant has now blocked a shot in 11 straight contests. That is a career high for him.

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski missed five plays late in the second quarter after absorbing a big hit from safety Earl Thomas. Officials stopped play so Gronkowski could be evaluated, as Gronkowski walked to the sideline under his own power and sat on the bench. When Gronkowski returned, the crowd roared.
