Ready for this $18.75 roast beef sandwich. Ticket please!
The 3 meat platter at Katz's. Corned Beef (my favorite), Pastrami (dad's favorite, and Brisket.

Huge food coma coming on. Best pastrami reuben I've ever had.
First stop... Nourishment for their world famous pastrami!
This place was the most organized chaos I've ever seen. Smooth in and smooth out, with a belly full of awesome. The pastrami literally melted in your mouth. I've never tasted better. The staff was on point and extremely nice. I went there on Halloween and it was a great experience. Don't leave the city without trying it, you will forever regret it if you do.
We love the food, best hotdog we've ever had and the pastrami is amazing. The only down side is when you order an unsweetened tea it is $3.00, which was fine, but they don't give refills and we were not told this. I asked the waiter for a refill and he looked surprised and got me a refill but he charged me $6.00 for 2 glasses of unsweetened tea which if you drink iced tea you know it is mostly ice. If I would of been told upfront I would of chose a different drink
Food wasn't bad but after reading some of the other reviews I see a pattern of over charging. I thought they just screwed up my bill but now I think they do this a lot. Maybe someone local can investigate!
I got one Reuben on rye and one beer and my bill was $43. The sandwich should have been about $20 before tax so that means they either charged me another $20 for one beer or they just way overcharged me. Either way not a good experience!
I expected the place to be a zoo going Saturday afternoon. We were hungry and off we go! The guy with the tickets was friendly and I assume we had a confused look in our eyes. He directed us to "any cutter in the middle". Easy enough. My cutter was kind and patient. He gave me a sample which was the best pastrami I had ever tasted.
I put my ticket in my pocket along with metro card, cash, hotel room key... Ugh! He needed it and it took me a moment to find it. He said "no problem man take your time".
We got a table pretty quick... Service was just fine. No rudeness at all. Best damn pastrami on rye ever... EVER! I loved it and highly recommend it. Cheers!
Best corned beef I have had in 40 years!! Tastes just like I remember corned beef back in Brooklyn! And the sour pickles were absolute heaven!! Our waiter was friendly and though it was busy, we never felt rushed. Can't wait to order/ship my goodies
