@w3c ~1996 got 1st family computer & dial up soon after. made my first website on geocities in '97. been a web developer ever since :). -
@w3c first came across WWW (& Gopher, FTP, Usenet, etc.) in 1993 via "http://concert.net " ISP. Made my 1st website that same year -

@w3c Prodigy, BBSs, AOL, then Netscape. View source changed my life. Got my first HTML book in '95. I've been making on the web ever since. -

@w3c In 1996, I found a doc on the web, from W3C I believe, about How to make Web Pages with HTML. I've probably made 200 sites since. -
@w3c it was in 1997, and I met most of my friends back then. In fact, I would've never met a lot of amazing people if not for the Web. -

@w3c I met@timberners_lee and Robert Caillau at Grif while working on a SGML rendering engine in 1992 or 1993 IIRC. Changed my entire life. -
