I LOVE Audible! I never have time to sit down and read, but I can listen to great books while I drive or clean or wherever. The app it's super simple to use and works great on every device I've had. My only comment would be that I wish it didn't delete your progress when switching to a new device. It would be fun to see how much time I've spent on the app total and not just since I've had this phone.

Great - makes reading so much easier I use this to help me get through the weighty novels I need to read or re read for my masters degree. I find I recall the details of the novels far better this way than by actually reading. One minor negative point about the app on mobile only - if you search for a title, you cannot go back to the search results once you finish reading about one of the results. Fix this and it's a five star from me!

My Top 5 app! I use this app everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. I rarely have the time to sit down and read a book being a single father with 2 jobs. It's really nice to be able to enjoy a good story on my way to work and on a few brakes. The only thing I would change about this app is i would make it to ware you can use an amazon gift card to purchase books trough audible. For some reason they are not linked. But it's not enough of a problem for me to give it a 4 star. LOVE IT!!!!

It has actually been a blessing I have a 12 year old with ADHD and it has helped so much when it comes to his reading projects. And with my life being so busy and hectic its is nice for me to be able to enjoy some of the books I have always wanted to read but never had time for

Amazing for running I started listening to audio books when I completely stopped being able to run to music. I have loved the app from the beginning. I have used it for years now and I have trained and ran many races since. I haven't checked for this feature in a long time but the only thing that was just icky because it adds an extra step is that I can't buy book through the app. This may have changed though, I'm not sure. But enjoy! I totally recommend it :)

Great app This Amazon app is really nice for listening to books. You can find some reasonably priced ones and it really makes traveling in the car much more enjoyable. The app is fairly easy to use. The rewind and fast-forward options are a little bit confusing but if you just sit and look at them for a minute you can figure it out. Accessing your library and loading your books is very intuitive. Overall it's a really nice app

Reading with eyes closed This is a new found pleasure. I use computers allot for work and like reading in my down time. But sometimes my eyes won't allow it. Audible is the perfect solution. I find the interface a little less polished to say N7Player (music app equivalent) but it is functional. It's the future for me, many thanks. Keep up the great work. I'd like to be able to put my digital books onto my server for the whole family to enjoy, is that possible? Cheers Mike
Worth it! If you are a busy person, if you're on the go, if you road trip a lot, if you enjoy cleaning your home, if you clean around your house begrudgingly, if you breathe basically get this app. It is fantastic they have a wide array of books. I would gift it to someone it is that good. I have listened to more audiobooks than trips to the mall this year. I love how they are mine to keep unlike the library audio books where they expire. I can listen to my favorite ones over and over again!!!
Very Convenient I was skeptical at first because I am use to reading my books. With a six year old, I fall asleep after about one chapter. Audible has made it much easier for me to stay in touch with my favorite authors and discover new authors at the same time. It was hard trying to concentrate (some of the reader's voices are hard to listen to and focus) but once I completed my first book, it became easier for me. I know the people are hired to read, so I am only giving four stars because I am not able to make a change.
Pay to Pay to Listen Good selection of books. The library is constantly growing. There is some cool free content as well. The monthly subscription is a bit much. The audiobooks are already way more expenisve than their kindle counterparts. Surely the fees Amazon charges authors are enough to cover the upkeep of the app. If you want to listen to more than 1 book a month it starts getting real real pricey.
A must have.. Tells me my bedtime stories, & shuts itself off with help of the sleep timer! Love that it will correspond with kindle reading location via whispersync. This is a great app, & even more fantastic if you're a Prime member with channels, etc. Do it.
Love it So easy to use. Great options that allow me set reading speed, set sleep timer, make notes and set bookmarks. Love this app. Books are more expensive but allows me to read books I would not otherwise read. Sign up for Audible's daily deals email and you can a book of interest for $3 sometimes.
The best, a savior! This app is the best. When I have precious free time, there is nothing more relaxing then taking a walk and listening to a story. Also my toddler will fall asleep in the car (napjail!) And I can just plug my phone in and listen to a book while I drive to our next playdate or park.
Great app. Can listen to excerpts b4 u buy I have over 30 books in my library. Obviously i love the app. The only issue I have is audibles return guarantee if you don't like the book or reader. It is not an easy process like they claim and online usually doesn't work. Other than that I would have given them 5 stars
I Love Audible I am an avid reader. Audible is a great way to enjoy a book when reading is not possible. I drive over 80 miles each day, plus numerous drives out of state....Audible helps keep me awake and alert, because once I start a good book it is almost impossible to fall asleep! The app is easy to use, and I have never had any difficulty with it freezing or stopping on me!
What do you get for buying this app? The app does not tell you. Are you paying monthly just to get the opportunity to buy audio books? You get one free book a month... is this an audio book or readable book? The selection of audio books is horrifyingly smaller than I expected. Take the Terry Pratchet series. Nearly 40 or so audio books, but only two at Audiobooks, and none of them are Diskworld books...?

Audible Team I'm addicted I have been listening for a few years now. Since I started I rarely listen to my car radio anymore. I listen while driving (everywhere) even on short drives, I listen while doing house and yard work and even sometimes at work and in the shower. Great discovery for me. Just wish they had a membership that was more conducive to my level of listening. I have to renew the highest membership about 2x a year, at least.
Great for truck drivers! I love listening to audio books while driving. The audible app makes it so easy. No cds getting tossed all over the truck and you can change the speed of the narrator, and if you missed something or If your brain wanders off for a second you can hit the back button and it will go back 30 seconds. I download on to the sd card on my phone. I've listened for around 6 hours and my battery didn't even drain down and don't have to use any data.
Yes I keep subscribing then unsubscribing. Love audio book. Was hit by a car off my bike so reading a nightmare. Not all the books that I want are there booked there is a great selection of the ones that I do are and this is a little dangerous as I want to buy them all again so I can just go for a walk with my headphones on and listen to away
Great App As far as audiobooks this is the best app to have. However the prices can be steep sometimes even if you already have the book on kindle in its reader format. The integration of the books from kindle and the same book from audible can be spastic and querky at times. Be that as it may, I still like the app a lot over other virtual ways to listen to audio books for its user friendliness.
Privacy creep, otherwise good Audible still has privacy issues, but at least they've reigned it in a bit. The player is very good now, it's evolved over time and Audible has listened to our feedback. Now if they removed the Big Brother features i would give it 5 stars.

Audible Team I'm so glad I finally took the plunge At first I wasn't really interested in audio books because I had so much time and opportunity to read physical books. Plus the physical audio books in stores cost so much more than a book. I just figured it was more practical to buy many books that one audio book. Since I'm an adult now and the world of audio books has expanded and is more accessible I decided to listen to some free short audio books and I love it. The app is easy to sign up ,use and navigate. I highly recommend.
Not good I didn't like the way the person read the book. I signed up on my Samsung Galaxy S7, but when I tried to cancel my membership, it wanted me to use a desktop which I don't have. This company and app just want people to pay and make it hard to cancel. BAD APP. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE
Most worthless piece of garbage ever created. Each of the updates makes it progressively worse. Painfully slow to load, always missing books. Although the app is free, the service is expensive, but essentially unusable due to the complete lack of interest in creating a functional app on the part of Audible. Latest update screwed the headphone output. Good work audible
Enjoy Enjoy yourself, as you sitback and allow your favorite books to take you into the storys like never before. Close your eyes and just picture yourself right there with the author. This app is easy to use and you are able to navigate really well. Just so you know you get the first month free with one free book after that there is a charge for downloading and listening to the free books. But any books you buy you keep and can enjoy even if you cancel your services.
The app is great, I just dont love the politics. Check out was Corey doctorow has to say about it. I wish your work with authors who want to make sure their fans actually own the content they are purchasing. If I could get Corey's books on here I'd never consider leaving.
Works well. Simple features. I've listened to about 10 audio books on it. It works well, saves my place, has the ability to take simple notes. I wish it had a text table of contents so i could skip around better -- particular for business books. Once you start listening, its hard to know where you are since even the chapters dont have text titles.
Was listening to a book and it lost my place, and now it's telling me I can't return to my place because "this chapter has not been downloaded". Also downloads fail every time the phone screen goes off. It says "lost wifi connection" even though the phone isn't moving. It doesn't try to reconnect. And because the downloads are SO SLOW this happens a lot. Over an hour for a 300MB book (on 11Mbps connection).

Audible Team Would like to give it five stars but... ...there are times when it just seems to want to fight with the infotainment system in my Chevy. Play and pause can take a while to go into effect and skipping forward and back can be an adventure. Also there are times when the infotainment system shows it as paused but it appears that it go on silently for a while in the background.
Great app! Great service! I drive for a living and get fairly bored with the radio. I used to stream music before I found Audible and payed a small fortune on data. Now I just download a book when near WiFi and listen to it while I drive. I never really have time to read anymore but now I can listen to all those books I've been putting off for so long! Thanx Audible!
I like it a lot! Just wish the books weren't so expensive.. some of them u can get at the store 5 bucks for a 20 dollar book on here. I understand there is subscription model, but i dont listen to enough books to get that, so...
All of my favorite books wherever I go! A must-have app for anyone who travels or wishes for entertainment as they tend to household chores. Listeners have the ability to review both the narrator and the content for each book. I now consume books on my daily commute!
Make every moments of my long trips worthwhile Had been using Audible for years. Can't live without it. And that I can access audiobooks I bought years ago, it's just amazing. Most of the time during my long bus/train rides, using kindle would be too tiring. So Audible is perfect.
Problems with latest update Since the last update audible no longer keeps running in the background when a book is paused and you switch to a different app. As soon as you switch away from a book the "play controller" in the notifications drop-down area disappears (it never used to disappear). As someone who has to frequently stop and start a book all day this is a huge loss of functionality. Please at least as an option to "make persistent" for those if us that need to keep it in the notification bar.
Stop staring at screens! Reading at night is a great way to be entertained and at the same time prepare yourself for a good night's sleep. I used to by a late night YouTube addict. But these days, I just make a cup of herbal tea, plug in head phones listen to Audible for around 30 minutes or until I find myself drifting off. Then I unplug, lay back and I'm off to sleep in no time.
One thing driving me nuts The latest updates, and a working phone.. nothing should be a problem but every time I leave the app screen to go respond to a text or open a Web browser it starts skipping ahead about 5 seconds, every 5 seconds. It's annoying, opening back up and even starting a different book doesn't clear it. It's not ffwd and even if I slow it down it does nothing. There is not an option anywhere to EXIT or close the program. I have to hold the power button down and option to restart the phone. Really annoying..
Too busy to sit down and read? I work full time and am a student... its nice to listen to a book on the way to work, school, or driving to the store.... I love being able to listen to my favorite books while I clean the house or do homework! I even listen to audible on my lunch breaks😊
Fast reply to issue. From 1 to 3 stars. Subscribed for free trial. Downloaded app. Naively touched "start now" button. Charged £7.99. Tricky. Time to check how to keep the books, and to unsuscribe. EDITwhy do they ask access to my content? EDITAudible replied offering to refund my money. I will give a try to the app instead. 2 stars instead of 1. Refused money back: it's not my point. EDIT 3 stars for keeping addressing issues.

If you were starting a free trial, you should not have been charged. Can you please contact customer service from the 'Help & Support' section of your app so that we can resolve this issue for you?
Audible doesn't access your photos, but needs access to your storage for storing and retrieving Audiobooks.

Audio Books are a thing! I get to choose my voices, know if it's abridged or unabridged, who's reading the foreword, if any, ...All before I buy. And then, once I buy, I earn badges and credits all the time when I listen during long car drives. Soooo, I basically get free books. #Audible #FTW
