Jim Gibbons is the president and CEO of Goodwill Industries International. Gibbons earned his B.S. in industrial engineering from Purdue University, and a M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, where he was the first blind person to graduate with a master’s in business administration. An expert at social enterprise management, socioeconomic program strategy and leadership skills development, Gibbons is a veteran speaker, guest lecturer and information resource for advocates, educators and journalists. Although officially retired, Larry DeJarnett continues to work on a part-time basis in his “fifth career” as founder and managing director of The LAMAR Group, an executive coaching and board advisory firm serving both for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
He is past board chair for Goodwill, Serving the People of Southern Los Angeles County, and a member of its finance committee. He is vice chair of the board of trustees of the Claremont School of Theology, serving on its executive committee, and as chair of its committee on trustees. DeJarnett is also past board chair of the Southern Illinois University Foundation, where he continues as a lifetime emeritus director and a member of its development committee. In 2016 he was elected chair of the board of directors of Goodwill Industries International, Inc., where he also chairs the Executive committee and Compensation Committees.
Until his early retirement in July 1999, DeJarnett was CEO of Enterprise Solutions, a global joint venture of EDS and A.T. Kearney, Inc., Management Consultants. He also served as senior vice president of A.T. Kearney, responsible for major consulting engagements in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Previously, he was a managing partner of the JIA Management Group (a specialty turn-around firm) and corporate vice president of Lear Siegler, Inc., with responsibility for technology and administration. Earlier, he held various management positions in information technology, finance and logistics with Ford Motor Company.
Following completion of bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Southern Illinois University, DeJarnett helped establish the university’s first systems and computer services organization, and taught management and technology courses in the College of Business.
Lorie Marrero is an organizing expert, Goodwill spokesperson, founder of the Clutter Diet® and best-selling author of The Clutter Diet: The Skinny on Organizing Your Home and Taking Control of Your Life and The Home Office Handbook Rules of Thumb for Organizing Your Time, Information and Workspace. Lorie helps people reduce clutter in their lives and organize their spaces. Since 2000, she has organized everything from households to chemistry labs to backstage tour cases. She has celebrity clients in the sports, entertainment and political arenas and is a leader and pacesetter in the professional organizing industry.
In 2006, Lorie launched the Clutter Diet, an innovative online member community that helps people “put their homes on a diet”. The program has helped thousands of people in eighteen countries, make the organizing expertise affordable and accessible to anyone, anywhere. You can see Lorie’s organizing advice in Woman’s Day magazine where she is a contributing editor.
Lorie has been a Goodwill spokesperson for the Donate Movement since 2010, which encourages people to donate the things they no longer need and emphasizes the positive impact donating has on local communities. Lorie lives in Austin, TX.

Evette Rios is a lifestyle expert, writer, contributor to The Today Show and host of CBS’s Recipe Rehab. Prior to her work at CBS, she was a field correspondent and roving reporter for ABC’s The Chew. Latina Magazine has embraced Evette as one of the “70 Reasons to Love Being Latina Right Now”, calling her the “mobile Martha Stewart.” Evette is bilingual and a contributor to Univision’s Despierta América, Tu Desayuno, Alegre and Al Despertar.
Evette spent years as a contributing design expert and “buddy” on Rachael Ray, where she became known for fabulous hands-on advice, innovative crafts, and dramatic room revisions- wowing Rachael and the audience with budget-friendly projects that look like a million bucks. Evette’s work has appeared in rachaelray.com, xoJane.com, Parade.com, the English-language Latina-focused website, Mamiverse and many other media outlets.
As a spokesperson for Goodwill, Evette shares budget friendly design and fashion ideas from items bought at Goodwill as well as promotes vital job training and career development services to the Hispanic community. Evette lives in New York City.
