Like other suggestions I would like a way to not have duplicate files/photos, to save space.

Can we have some specific way to:

1) run a "duplicate" search that can automatically delete files/photos based on a name, size and date
2) search for duplicates and then list them all in name order, showing name, size and date to then give option to review then delete
3) a file compare search for similar looking files, then the option to delete one(s)

Please stop with the folder creation!!!!!!!!!!!!

If i wanted a folder called 'email attachments' i would
create one .. its annoying having to delete them everytime i come bk to onedrive

Comparable to the described problems in this post https://onedrive.uservoice.com/forums/262982-onedrive/suggestions/17864110-enable-sync-client-to-allow-editable-synching-of-t the NGSC is not able to sync libraries (neither SharePoint nor O365-Groups), that have secondary versions turned on. The synced files are write protected and can’t be edited by library owners or other write-permitted users.
This really restricts the possibilities in scenarios where companies use the secondary-versioning and publishing-to-full-version-feature to secure the presentation of content in document libraries and keep content-producers productive.

As at 23rd Jan 2017 the newly relased One Drive for Business synch client enables synching of Team sites BUT if any libraries have mandatory meta data or require check out, the synched folder/library is read only. This cripples collaboration by teams on documents. This needs to be fixed

As already several times mentioned we (the customers) need the ability to share / copy a link to a folder or file within the context menu (right click on the folder or file).

This is an attempt to summarize the others ideas and get this idea upvoted, so Microsoft actually implements our wish.

Please add the feature to permit the sync of the Androind gallery in OneDrive with an Office 365 account

Many customers wan't the option to collaborate with OneDrive cross o365 organization, and have the option to sync the shared files with OneDrive. Right now you are only able to sync files shared within your own o365 organization. Right now the only option is to browse to the shared link and access the files. Trying to use "sync" will result in an error in OneDrive (next gen sync client) as shown in attached file.

I am aware of the behavior that the OneDrive Apps apparently is shutting down within a minute and the display returns to the home screen when modifying the scaling the file repeatedly in App.

Therefore, I hope the future to be able to keep the App operation without shutting down via mobile devices as well.

I am planning to share the folder with external users in near future, but for security protection, I hope the feature will be able to get the logs that enable seeing which folder has been accessed includes the name of users and accessed time. Thank you for your continued support.

When I start to use the One Drive for Business within Power Shell, I enable the cmdlet in which the "Share with everyone" folder generates automatically and the authorization is given.

Although at this point, I am able to finish completing the creation of folder, I hope the behavior to be improved that enables to give authorization properly to me because I have no authorization that I am supposed to be given.

OneDrive desktop version should not take up computer storage i.e. it should only mirror the cloud documents, not the other way around.

Examples: Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, and every other major cloud storage provider.

I hope the feature to be implemented that could enable to upload automatically the screenshot available and acquired in the private One Drive since it is convenient if I could use the feature even within One Drive for Business keeping the large capability for saving.

Please add support for Autocad files.

As a global production company we use a fair amount of 2D layouts in our projects. We have recently started using SharePoint Online and Onedrive for manageing and standardising Projects. While our office workers love working with supported documents in SharePoint, our engineers hates it. It's a very cumbersome task, to always download - upload every 2D layout in order to work with them.

If we just could get a viewer it would be a good start enabling Autocad support and a great help to us.

So why can you scan multiple pages with office lens but not with the new scan feature in onedrive? And vise versa regarding renaming the file.

I am aware of the menu screen is displayed, but disappears, apparently when right-clicking on a document or folder. Please see the steps below,

- Displayed OneDrive for Business via Internet Explorer, then right click on the document or folder
- Although items [Sharing] [Get Link] [Download] [Delete] [Move] are displayed for a moment, but they are disappearing immediately on screen so that we cannot click them.

Configuration:
- Internet Explorer 11 with Windows10
- Internet Explorer 11 with Windows8.1

I hope the featutre will be implemented to fix this problem as soon as possible.
