UBER@3 campaign in hyderabad was brilliantly designed for cheap publicity. It was supposed to deliver free biriyani to riders between 11 and 3 PM. I started the app at 11 and was keep on checking till 3 PM. Everytime it says Try later. I doubt if a single person was able to get the biriyani. Cheap tricks to fool the customers. Hats off to you Uber.
UBER is not just providing alternative transportation service. It is INTEGRATED to my daily life including my family. Thank you!

The service is really great but recent price hikes are very high.
Was great but now their new pricing system means your ride quote will jump several hundred percent in seconds. You never know what is a good price anymore. Just keep hitting refresh and hope it drops to a price cheaper than a taxi. In most cases they are double a taxi fare for the same distance so now I just walk more.
Recent updates made the app heavy.. most of the time its not responding.. I need to restart my mobile to get it work properly. And lots of exciting offers for only new users. Don't forget the existing users also customers of uber.. for users like me who occasionally use the app but for longer rides are not given chance for any offers.. Apart from these concerns, uber is doing great..Its really appreciated if I get above queries answered.. Thanks
Uber is a app that is great for anyone who lives in a city or travels a lot. This app is very easy to use and has a great user interface even showing were their drivers are in respect to you. This app has changed how I get around town, espicially on weekends. This app allows you to pay with your card and has good rates compared to other services. I am not surprised that this app is as popular as it is seeing how it fixed the problem of finding rides, especially for young adults. It also helps that this app has an icon that is easy to locate.
Love this! First time in a long while that I have found myself without my own car. Uber is great and let's me easily see how many vehicles are available in my area and how long they will take to get to me. Brilliant service ...had a few issues with app and sent email - they fixed the issues and updated me by email within ten mins! Great app and great customer service. Well done.
Today I have faced the worst day due to UBER. I was a fan till date and would have given 10 out of 5 on any other day. Today I booked one cab and that went somewhere else and after that the no was not reachable of that cab. I had an train to catch. Thrn when I cancelled u charged 50 rupees fine? Fine for what? U shlw 2 min to reach n reach after 5 min. We never fined u. Then booked another cab who went to fill the fuel after booking and I waited for more 10 mins. Then again I cancelled. For that also fine?? Means R U serious guys??? Myast ride with uber today.
You can't give actual feedback. Yes, I said none of the promotional offers work. Hence, they stopped all the offers to my account. As I came to know some offers I tried to use them. But unfortunately it says in running pop-up that no offers will apply to this account. All the rides will be of full charges. Nowadays fares also increased upto 30%. If they don't like to see any negative feedback, then why shoulg they ask for feedback. Who were interested in giving any?
The App is great. It tells you what you need as in estimated fare,how far away the driver is and the like. But lately the drivers and the service they offer has changed One driver went in the complete wrong direction, then i had to guide them. This has happened a few times with direction giving. The first few time I used the uber service it was fantastic. But now slowly not becoming a fan anymore.
Surge varies per user. Drivers rate passengers who use cards lower just because they like cash better. The navigation system often chooses the longer way to the destination especially during peak hours. A card of mine that I used to use before cannot be used now and keeps asking to be re-verified. This is like the 2nd time it's happened.
I saw some improvement in the app as well as customer relations than before. I can say that you are following customer requests positively. Try to reduce the exorbitant ride fares. Now on the eve of your third anniversary it is good that you are distributing biryani packets. It would have been if you have distributed 250 grams of sweet packets to celebrate republic day than biryani packets. Is it not?
Its really awesome. The new update makes it even better. You get to see a countdown of the time the driver takes to arrive which is helpful. Although my driver was 3 minutes away and in less than a minute he was arriving. Not sure if thats an app error or if the time is just an estimate. I like the badege feature a lot. But there should be an option to choose more than one.
साला बहुत चुतियापा है, बहुत बुरी app है I have used this app many time and every time money deducts from my uber cash after half an hour till driver has gone with taking fair in cash as a denomination of indian rupees. every time i have to complainet to take refund that is increases in wallet only but i can't use this cash bcoz every time driver demand money in cash.. So i humble request to everyone who is reading this statement not to use uber service
I always loved uber. But, My app suddenly got changed after I downloaded in my formatted phone. Its just showing a global map and am not getting how to get to home page to request a ride. I did everything. Exploring settings and all but nothing's happening. I need uber almost every alternate day. Yesterday had to use OLA for first tym as I was in urgency. Today also think will have to use OLA as my app not working and showing the home page to request ride. Plz help soon.
FIXED : The cab location updates real-time on the Windows Phone app, whereas on Android app, it takes so long to update the cab location. The cab reaches my pickup point and on the map it still shows about half to one kilometer away on the map. Tried it on different Android devices to make sure it isn't an issue with just my device. I have to close and reopen the app everytime to see the cab's location. UPDATE: The issue has been fixed. Thank You.
My experience with Uber has been very good expect on one occasion ..when I had pay RS 60/- as penalty as Cancellation charges. Whereas I had not opted for cancellation. In fact, I saw the cab..with same number ,as advised, but despite my waving hands, the driver did not see me signalling for stopping, he moved further with another passenger already sitting in the cab (it was a case of sharing). This incident related from CP round boutique opp Main post office. I had to try another cab n reached my destination to Rajouri Garden
Tried to cancel a trip but the screen keeps loading and then frozed. Tried to Cancel a trip before 5 min after the driver accept my trip but still charged 10 000 IDR. Requested uber pool but the driver does not pick me up and said he did not accept my order and it was uber's fault for accepting it for him. Change payment type to cash but still charge my credit card. I cancelled a trip and it automatically look for another driver when i did not even request for another driver. Overall this app is very disappointing.
I'm stuck at the payment method after the update. No matter how many tries, the app is not computerising my data. I should not have updated the app which was working fine. ;/ UPDATE: after reinstalling the app it works fine. However do i need to keep reinstalling for every update? It may not seem like alot of data but i would like to save whereever i can.
Ever since the new version came out in Nov 2016 the app hasn't worked at all. I only get the world map, can't set any locations or destinations and any attempt to check account settings results in an error reaching the Uber network. This happens even on wifi or with different devices and different carriers. No matter how many new updates come out since then it remains just completely broken.
First of all every time I update it, my fares increase. I have been using this app everyday April of 2016, it's been good until here lately. Now a cab company can compete, because they are cheaper. On top of it I have never gotten a free ride from uber NEVER. I use it every day sometimes twice a day, thats starting get expensive. They need to have a frequent rider program to reward people that uses it often. AIRLINES have frequent flier program, why shouldn't Uber have one as well???? And most of it is that you started out great but now its like regular business nothing great about it.
I have been using uber fir a long time. I use my PayTM wallet for payment. Since today everytime i am trying to pay from PayTM it's saying your PayTM profile has expired. Please reauthorise. I have reauthorised many times but it's showing the same message everytime. Surprisingly only when i am booking an uberX that message is not coming. It's surely a bug. Please fix it. Also let me know currently what can i do since i cannot use cash to pay each time. Btw i cannot add card payment as well.
Uber is pathetic, they are scamming people by directly debitting them once the paytm is hooked up... You will not be able to delete the paytm as it keep stating 'Failed to delete paytm..' also, the moment you select cheaper fare option it will take automatically the higher denomination & you will slog your a** to get a refund... Ola is much cheaper as it costed only 140 as compared to Uber which was 370 for the same distance and destination
Very hard to get a taxi with this app. Couldn't get map view to place pinpoint. Needed to delete and reinstall Google maps and uber app to get It somehow working. After ride I did not get a chance to give feedback to driver (?????) It's really bad experience considering I am uber driver myself!!!!!!!!! I don't care how much money you have wasted on other projects but make sure your basic service working good!!!!! One star today well deserved.
Down to 1 star until you fix your location. We live on number 21. Not 7, not 23, not 32 and definitely not 19-23. I even have it saved in my settings under home. It says 21 and I select it. Every single time I book from home I have to text drivers to come to 21!!! Unbelievable! How is this company surviving with this rubbish app. Wish there was an alternative! May be that's why!
I'm not able to pay the last travel amount and it's showing error message like there is a problem with your credit card, check the settings. I tried removing the card, after that I'm not able to add the same card.. Literally I'm not able to use uber app anymore !! Tried alternative methods like pattum to pay the amount, but not working. Create a "pay now" option in trips which will be more easier for us..please help.
I am unable to register a new account. It takes me to sign in page.. the number is new and why is it taking me to sign in page.. ola is transparent and has better offers... but wanted to register to book cabs when ola is not available.. but after reading the comments I feel it's better to stick to Ola.. they do not have cancellation charges..
The new update is seriously horrible. The trip starts automatically even before the driver and customer meet. I had a cab driver who made me wait for 10 minutes and then cancelled and there is no way to complain. Navigation on the new app is really bad. It is not at all intuitive and the UI sucks.
This app just make fools of there customers and charge money according to there own wish. I got Rs50 of for two rides from my friend on my next two rides but when I booked uber for my destination I asked for 200rs just for 4km distance and when I tried to contact to there customers care they haven't responded for my query Please never use uber
With the new update, this the screen takes too long to load and/or freeze while loading, and if I move just one inch somewhere, it'd reset everything. Also, there was once when I called a cab but the app didn't register my trip over his app. This update is a hassle
I was charged 500 for a trip n just one click n to my amaze in 5 sec I got 450 inr back... N I love it's offers... Spoiling me.... Biggest drawback is it's hard to find cabs and it's not on time.. means it says 5 min but takes MORE THAN 15 mins n if ur in urgent and opt for a public transport it charges u a FINE...
I hate their customer service. I try to talk to them to resolve anything and all they do is copy and paste. They have no sense at all. They don't care if your issue is resolved at all and all they do is keep marking it as resolved. They're completely childish and they ignore you if they feel it is resolved. They have no care for you or anyone else. Don't support this company.
