Learn moreNo matter where you deploy containers, you need a place to store and manage the images. Azure Container Registry allows you to store images for all types of container deployments including DC/OS, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Azure App Services, Batch, Service Fabric, and others. So deployment and operations teams can manage the configuration of apps isolated from the configuration of the hosting environment.
Reduce network latency and eliminate ingress/egress charges by keeping your registry in the same data center as your deployments. Azure Container Registry provides local, network-close storage of your container images within your subscriptions, giving you full control over access and image names.
No need to learn new APIs or commands. Use the open source Docker CLI tools you already know to interact with the registry. When you use the Azure Container Registry, you will find it compatible with the open source Docker Registry v2 so that you can use the same tools with the registry.
