Fast and snappy. Great launcher. I won't be using it full time until there is an option to hide the search bar (or move it off the homepage) and the navigation bar can be hidden. However, that's a personal and cosmetic gripe. If the search and navigation bars don't bother you it's awesome. Edit: would also like the option to hide the status bar on the home page. I'll keep checking back with Evie periodically and change to 5 stars if/when these changes occur.

Take my money already!!! Best launcher ever! Thanks for this wonderful gift. Maybe just include a card background for the app drawer, a darker theme search bar and as well as way to make a particular screen the home/main screen. What do I care anyways. I'm sticking with this no matter what! If I could give a hundred stars they'd be all yours.

Love this launcher. Has all the features I want, including email backups (to setup on multiple devices) and double tap to sleep. Two improvements needed are the ability to remove the search bar and a restart launcher button. Sometimes i get a blank white screen at the bottom half of my screen and the only way to fix is to reboot the whole device or switch to another launcher temporarily and back. A restart option would fix this.

Amazing launcher, minimalistic design with lots of functionality. But, there are some features I don't get here that I get with Nova Launcher Prime (mostly customization, not functionality), there are a few things I like on this launcher more than Nova as well. Compared to standard Nova Launcher I think this is a solid equal, but Nova Launcher Prime is just a bit better in my opinion. Still 5 stars from me 👍

Was using Yahoo Aviate before this. Since they have stopped the support, I was looking for a similar launcher that can handle everything from a single page. Evie has come to the rescue. Minimal and efficient. A request to the developer : Pl give multi options on hard pressing the home screen icons. That will increase the efficiency even more. Thanks.
What an amazing launcher. I have a larger phone and smaller hands but this launcher makes it easier to use the phone one handed with the option of having apps in a list. Also with the swipe up motion, I put just the bare essential apps across a couple of screens, which allows me to actually see the background image. It's a wonderful, simple, and efficient launcher. Can't say enough good things!

The most good looking launcher I've ever had. Love it. But (1) please make the search bar optional! Especially for a small phone like mine, every bit of space is precious. Also (2) pls don't enforce dead space at the bottom of the the home screen. (3) eg the home screen indicator should be optional (4) and the option to add an empty screen (no widget/app). (5) the search bar setting is always on subtle but displays as white sometimes. (Sony xz1 compact) I'm really looking forward to the custom gestures tho.
Such an awesome overhaul! I'd been a long time Apple user but decided to switch to the S8. I had no idea about these kinds of modifications you can do to the phone and this launcher has made such a difference to the phone. I love how tidy everything is as well as the ease of use, whether it's searching for an app or adding a widget. A very very impressive app and one that I would definitely recommend. I'm also super impressed by the lack of adverts, it makes it seem so premium whilst not having to actually pay for anything! If we felt like we had to donate a bit of money, what would be the best way to do it? Thank you and keep up the amazing work.
Very good launcher and very fast, evrything you need just with one slide up or down. Loved it more than anything on my phone. I recomend it, you should try it, specialy for those who have low specs on their smartphone! It will save you lots of time plus you will see your phone going faster than usual. Always apps like this will change the game on mobiles! Respect fot the team who build it! :)
Love the simplicity and speed of the launcher. However, I would like the search bar to be hidden or removed completely. The gesture down then could be customize to maybe bring the notification bar down or something else. Other than that, I can't access wallpapers that come with app icon packs and would like to pick which screen is home screen. Overall, a great launcher! Can't wait for more updates.
Like how simple and clean it is. Only gripe is if I do a search for say, Camera, it'll only show the results if the apps title start with camera, it doesn't pick up say "Bacon Camera" or " Open Camera". I think the search would work best if it was looking for the search term in any part of the title. Other than that, thanks for the launcher! Update 02/21/2018: With Aviate no longer being supported, decided to go back to Evie and give it a go. The search is working great, and the overall interface is fast. The backup feature was fast and everything is exactly how I want it. This is now my daily launcher!
So ive been using this launcher for a while now and i have to say its great! Its easy, customizable, light and simple to use. Its also very smooth it literally feels flawless. The only request i have is can you please create a jesture where we can swipe down and bring the notification thing down it helps with these bigger bezeless phones(LGG6). Apart from that thanks to the team at Evie this is a great launcher keep up the good work! Ill continue to use this launcher. Sanj
Its the best launcher in all i have used so far. but There is a bug, it shows notification count on gmail, facebook, messages and whatsapp but when i open anyone of the app, read my msgs and go back to eve launcher, the count does not get immediately clear off (comes to zero). It takes almost 5 to 10 mins to get them reconcile with the actual count. Also, please provide an option to mark any of the page on homescreen as home.
Minimal launcher with few occasional bugs here and there but does what it needs to do. I would recommend. Can you guys fix the unread badges though? The count badge style comes out HUGE. It only lets me calibrate from 100- 60, when before it used to be 100-0
Spectacular! Was having some performance issues and memory losses while using the default launcher. This launcher sent the issue into oblivion. One of the best launchers in market with a simple design and a clear view towards productivity. I would advise everyone to read the info given or get to know on how to use the launcher through internet, before installing the launcher. On the whole, I am enjoying it a lot
Great app! My hobby is graphic design and layouting. And to be honest, under all those launchers i have tried so far, this was the only one that was actually a launcher i could have more than one day. The margins, font, sizing, overall look, animations and more are just great for someone like me. I even sacrificed some beloved features other launchers had because of evie. Long story short: Evie is the only launcher i liked and i have for like over a year now because there is no launcher that beautiful. Evie might not have that many features but it's still a 10/10 download. And yeah, there ar no ads which is reeally great! Thanks Evie!
Liking this Evie launcher so far, looks good. Just one thing is the left side capacitive key, which is usually by default to get you to the Wallpaper, Widgets and Settings option on the homescreen just opens the menu, but maybe that can be sorted in a future update, I don't mind pressing and holding a blank patch of the homescreen for the time being. Really impressed.
I really love this launcher! The minimalistic design and customization option really satisfy my needs. There are some things, though. Some of my apps are missing from the app drawer (I didn't hide it), so I have to search for it from the search bar every time I want to use it. And please, add the option to hide the search bar, I like my screen clean and dandy and the search bar is preventing it. As the alternative, you can add search icon in app drawer page. And one more thing, like the others have said, please add the option to make certain screen the home page. Thank you!
Love this lightweight launcher it's exactly what I was looking for. Great that you can resize the apps quickly and easily. Lately after exiting an app the next page I swipe to, the apps are not there. If I go to another page and then back they are where they are supposed to be. Not a huge deal just a small bug. The only thing I think it is missing is the use of Google now on the far left.
1. Dual apps just don't show up in the app list. There is a feature in some phones where we are able to run 2 instances of the same app, meaning it's the same app, but with 2 different accounts. The second app (same name but a little different icon) is not visible in the app drawer. So yeah, maybe you call it work space, work app there but I meant that. 2. And please make the search bar optional.

I'll leave my original review below but I have had to remove a star due to a bug that prevents me from changing app icons. It seems to be an issue with hiding apps as unhiding them seems to fix it. Snappy, light and clean - this is by far my favorite launcher even against the paid ones I've used.
This is a great launcher. I absolutely love it. However, for some reason, there's no option to hide the search bar. I am using a live wallpaper with a search bar on it too. Now I have 2 search bars on my home screen which kinda looks redundant. For now I'm uninstalling this launcher simply because I'm still attached to my wallpaper. But I'd love to keep both if I can just hide the search bar on my homescreen. Hoping it comes with the next update.
Rewriting my review because they had fixed my problem with the new update. Makes my phone so much easier to use. It's so minimalist and nice looking. My favourite launcher I've used by far. Good customer service too with responding and solving issues in a short period of time. Mad props.
Tried Many paid launchers but I simply find this one to be the best, It has many premium features and looks stunning while still running smooth. Would definitely recommend this launcher to friends, keep up the great work! :D (And there's no annoying Ads)
Fantastic launcher! Great to see it's ad free and there's no premium version you have to buy for all features ( maybe you can add donate in settings menu I sure would donate). what I would like to see is a way to hide notification bar at top of screen, and hide/move search bar and swipe right for Google home page.

Updates are great. Smooth, clean and simple. You should try adding themes. Without ads of course. Most of us won't keep a launcher if it has ads. This one doesnt, I'm just saying if the themes did. If u were to add them. Spice things up a bit. Maybe a version where we all can buy the full version so there's a guarantee of no ads

It is quite humble, manages everything gives decent customizing options and it is quite smooth I love it as I am using a Lenovo vibe which doesn't have much customisation and it has a dull vibeui launcher (what I feel) but this launcher actually makes my device look great and perform well no issues so far. Love it. Edit: the search bar bugs me sometimes I want to remove it but there is no option to do so please check on this issue
I reaaaaally love this app. The only thing I would love to have even more is an option to select any screen as my home screen. In other words, I would like to have the option to make my 2nd screen the default page that my phone goes to when I click the home button. Then I would love this app even more and it will be perfect. Please can we make this happen?!

This is launcher is great it has widgets, and can even replicate your old launcher. Here are some recommendation 1. There should be a home screen you can set 2. The widgets didn't replicate and I had to re-add them manually Otherwise great launcher! Keep up the great work!
Love the flexibility of the launcher, but a couple small things would be nice... The ability to view the Settings screen in landscape on lower DPI devices would be great, as I use an 8 inch tablet in landscape. Also, the search function appears to be the only thing on my tablet to call the 'full screen' keyboard, which is rather annoying. Thanks for the great launcher!
Evie is probably the fastest launcher I've used! Thanks a lot for adding the ability to search using DuckDuckGo instead of Google in the latest update. Hopefully some custom gestures can be implemented in the near future. I frequently find myself swiping down to open the notifications shade, only to have search appear instead.
launcher is very simple, easy to use, the settings are also easy, but in some applications still get an error as an example in instagram every new photo upload must be force close. maybe the future will be better. actually this app is quite satisfactory. sorry my bad english
1 short of a 5 star.... Great launcher BUT an issue with the time. It seems to stand still in Android 6 until you rotate the screen then it miraculously catches up! Weird bug, hopefully a quick fix the 5 stars all the way.
Hands down the best, most intuitive launcher I've ever touched. The minimalistic design coupled with that buttery-smooth search gesture is is a godsend. Honestly, it's bare-bones but has all the bells and whistles I would ever need. My search for my perfect launcher is officially over.
Love love love this launcher. It's so light and easy to use. The ONLY thing that I would like would be a "lock" on the homescreen so my fat fingers don't rearrange all my icons + widgets accidentally. **UPDATE** Dec 2017 Now has a lock function on the screen and can not fault it. A minimalistic and beautiful launcher I have chosen for my tablet. Buttery smooth and clean. You know it's there, because you no longer see your stock launcher. But then again you don't, because it never gets in the way. I absolutely love the way it has transformed how I use my device.
Fantastic app! My new main launcher. Only thing is I would give the option to change the search bar look and make the two finger swipe for Google now look a little better; the logo is a little low on resolution. Keep up the great work!
Great launcher. Can feel little tiny lags sometimes but nothing that's bad. Evie settings is not on the list of all apps. When you're configuring some settings, want to test it and go back to evie settings again to change something, it is not saving the state of where you were so that you have to search evie settings again and then go to a relevant subsetting. So, yeah just those minor things I noticed when installing evie. But otherwise, again, a great launcher.
