Excellent I like this really simple and straight-forward interface. it allows you to quickly save any page/ article you want to read later on - heck, even without an internet connection - without any of the hassle. But there is one flaw I would like to notify you about. It can't save articles that mave more than one picture (ex: various kinds of slides with nuemorous pics that you can veiw with arrows). Article hiding also. Besides that, this app is very convenient and kills multiple birds, with a single stone.

It is a quite useful application with good features along with it. But as I share any quora answer which I would love to store. It automatically takes a different answer given to the same question and stores it. It happens everytime. I had installed it just to store quora answers and since it is unable to do the same...I am giving it 1 star...

Great app for reading during commutes. Simply the best app for offline reading of web articles during commute. It takes the hassle out of saving websites for offline viewing and has many feature one would expect out of a reader. Just wish it added the features of highlighting text in websites and possibly attaching your own note for future reference.

Push doesn't work Push hasn't been working for me for some time now. App refreshes the list only when opened. Also I'd love to see some improvement in the UX department. Like pull to refresh, swipe gestures for switching between tabs or dismissing the articles from the list a la Mailbox.

The only reason I got this app was so that I could use its text-to-speech feature as I save articles from the web to listen to, later. The chrome extension works seamlessly, in a no-nonsense manner. However, the implementation is done poorly on the Android app. The "Currently Listening" pop-up ends up hogging the screen. The proper way to implement this would be to highlight the text which is currently being read. Also, the ability to scroll and jump to a paragraph would make this feature complete. Text-to-speech is inherently imperfect. You don't want to lock the user to an entire page with no navigational ability. Other than that, good job!

Problem with downloading articles Lately, it seems that some of the articles I had saved were not downloaded which makes me unable to read them when my phone is not connected to the internet. I tried to refresh when I have internet connection yet still they can't be downloaded and I can't read them offline. Note: most of these articles came from your recommendations.

Thanks so much for your review! Listen (TS) feature : a) The Popup 'Currently Listening' is occupying most of space. b) At the same time, the text that is being read is not visible always. Bigining of Para is out of screen. Hope you will rectify.
TTS experience is horrible The Text-to-speech experience is really bad. The tracking is poor, laggy, and often leaves the app completely unusable. It is hard to navigate back and forth during TTS. Also, the TTS interface does not respect the system settings. In particular, the maximum speed is much too slow. I listen to ebooks with TTS in MoonReader, which is at least four times faster.
Recent update causes issues with offline reading (the only reason I use it). It now attempts to retrieve articles even when there's a poor connection. It eventually gives up but it takes minutes. Offline news readers shouldn't be tripped up by a poor net connection. Just let me read the articles and stop trying to reload them!
Love it Love being able to find saved articles to read in off line times when it suits. Dont love how some articles dont actually save and you have to wait till yr on line to see them. How do you distinguish between what will save for offline and what wont when you are choosing what to add to your Pocket? Knowing this would save much frustration and annoyance .

On HTC ONE [m7] Vodafone 4g Android 5.0.2, Sense 6.0, SmartLauncher 3.24.10F(beta).
Can't live without it. Yet... Feel like there is a lot of potential wasted without making it feel bloated. It would be great to make it slightly more social, a place where I can share an entire tagged group of articles with friends. Further, Xmarks seems to be dead in the water, it would be awesome to pick up more features from it, such as advanced navigation in folders.
Great app, I use it a lot. Love the recommendations list, I very often find great articles there that are of interest to me. However it has a **very** big problem in all versions (desktop, iOS, android): when you look at the recommended view, the items may refresh while you are going down the list or (in the case of desktop) if you are in a different tab of the browser and then go back to list of recommendations. I cant stress enough how **annoying** this is ! Are you ever going to fix it and be nice to us users ???
Text to speech fixed Update: TTS appears to be working again. Highly recommend. I used to use Pocket all the time. Since TTS broke, though, I hardly ever do. It says on my phone as a convenient article accumulator, but it's not nearly the killer app it once was.
Maybe good in principle. Really slow at reading and often seems to forget where you got to when switching between it and different apps. Also seems to now be opening links in my Houzz app which slows it even more
Has started crashing a lot. What has happened to my first love? It isn't able to withstand without crash for even a few articles. Sad.
Bad Previously I could save any article I wanted. Now I can't. Especially the ones from 'stumble upon'. They appear completely blank.
What happened? I haven't had Pocket for a long time and I was happy that everything I saved was still there. But over half of what I saved wouldn't load or re-download. This issue needs to be fixed
Could do even better TTS could be improved by removing that twitchy unwanted player in the screen. Can we have a "mark as read" button?
Excellent It's a great utility for saving stuff that I can come back for referencing or just to read later. The one thing that is lacking is you can't arrange stuff in folders or categories.
Voice speech of TTS is slow. TTS offers more speed but Pocket does not let to use. Please disable the automatic boot in the system. Needs a direct shortcut to open the browser.

News in my Pocket. Very useful and easy to use. Perfect option for reading things later. The new Material Design is easy on the eyes and pleasing to read.
Love the app To me it is the most important app on my phone besides whatsapp. I can read articles of topics I never thought if through the recommendation of other users. I love the app.
one of those apps that stands the test of time this is one of the apps I install the second I get a new phone. perfect for savibg articles for offline reading. i like that the desktop browser extension recommends stuff to read based on the article saved. and I'm using tags to categorize my article library, which make organization a lot easier.
CANNOT READ WHILE LISTENING TO TTS The TTS engine display blocks the whole screen and I cannot read the passage at all!! Why the android version is that inconvenient, especially comparing to that of the Iphons version!?

Pease write us at [email protected] with a few example links so we can check this out. Thanks! TTS highly dysfunctional The text-to-speech function is terrible. It takes forever to catch up to where you are when you stop the speech. Also if you hit 'back' it skips to a random place in the article. I told Pocket about this more than 2 years ago and they didn't fix it.
Great smartphone experience I'm in love with the whole Pocket system and I usually use the Chrome extension on PC. I took up reading on phone & tablet recently and this app fits my reading habit perfectly!
Don't download thousands of articles on first login The app starts downloading 2000-3000 articles on first login. That's not a great experience.
Fantastic! Not only it made everything easy, it also regulated my online reading habbits.

Great for follow-up reading! The interface is very nice and easy to use. Very nice dark theme. This is my middle app, using IFTTT to either post to word press and twitter or to archive to Evernote. So easy to use a useful, nice work!
Great organizer I use this app on and off. It is great for work articles, recipes or just anything random I want to clip. It is way better than Evernote and super easy to use.
