Good App, Overall
I love the FB Messenger app, overall. I think the new layout is pretty decent. So far just 2 complaints: 1, I'm not crazy about how it seems to randomly switch back-and-forth between the new and old emojis (I like the traditional emojis myself 😄).
My 2nd complaint is about the iWatch's FB messenger app. For some reason whenever I log into the FB messenger app from my watch's home screen (not the notification window) it seems to get stuck on the loading screen and doesn't retrieve any of my messages. That's gotten to be really annoying. FB Messenger app developers, please fix that. Other than that, good app.
FB, please get rid of the new emojicons. They're horrible. Or someone at least tell me how to turn them off.
STOP CHANGING THE ORIGINAL DEFAULT SOUND
What happened to the original notification sound, AGAIN?!? You've fixed it twice now, but then it keeps getting switched back to and it's getting annoying. Change it back to the original sound and give us the option to change it if we feel like it. I would also like all of my conversations in one place and not have to scroll to two different "sections" to find previous convos. This is the 3rd time I've "reviewed" the app and I know plenty of other people have done the same to get you to switch back to the original notification sound, so JUST STOP CHANGING IT please! I can't stand the new sound. Please stop messing with it and just change it back.
Well, it works.
It does what it's suppose to. I hate that I'm forced to have it just to reply to Facebook messages. This stupid app got me yelled at, because I hate having notifications turned on for this application. Nothing more annoying to me than my phone going off all day from stupid apps. Anyhow,I had been browsing Facebook watching videos, minding my own business...when this stupid, freaking app showed I was active on messenger, just BECAUSE I was browsing Facebook. Lol so now I'm "an unpleasant individual who ignores people and is not noble" thanks, Facebook! Can't event watch my cat videos in peace without cyber stalkers watching my every move.
