Few things to make it perfect I like it, however, needs more shows, the most wanted feature I want is the ability to change speed on the lock screen widget, not having to open the app to change the speed, also, I want am to pay, hate adds, give us option to go without adds! Another problem, the episode title should be the main title, not the show name, I already know what I'm listening!

Meh I like the user interface but frequently current podcast streams are not available as quickly as they are on DoggCatcher.

it was great..... it was a great tool, but now it keeps going to "offline mode" even when im connected to wifi. then I can't update any podcasts. sometimes it will reset when I restart my phone. sometimes not.

Daily Buddy Literally use it everyday. On the way to and from work, in the car, while cooking...pretty much doing anything when I can't watch the screen. Perfect.

Loved this app since its origin I have been loving this app since it first came out which I believe was like 10 years by now. I cant recall it ever failing even though I listen sometimes for several hours a day. I laugh, learn, keep up w/ the most vital world and science while keeping all the squirrels in my head focussed and semi-quiet. As to show quality, sometimes a host will learn production on the fly. If their content is useful to you give the host a little bit of encouragement and you will find quality gets better with each episode
Buggy after update Used to be my go to and only podcast app. About two months ago it started acting up. Would play maybe 5 minutes of a podcast then start playing a different one. Also, can not play some podcasts and will just play a weird sound that sounds like someone bumping into a mic. So disappointed because I really like this but have to move on, not worth dealing with the bugs anymore.
Great app, minor improvements wanted There were some previous bugs that really sank my rating of Stitcher. Those seem to have been worked out. My only issue now is content sorting. There needs to be ways to more easily find content you like and filter out content you don't like.
Fix the skipping. Seriously, fix it. Its the most annoying thing in the world. The suspense builds, the story is about to progress, and then the suspense builds again but with less mustard. Please fix the skipping while streaming. As the FAQ states, the problem is understood. The "work around" suggested works. Is it possible to select stream and have the episode start and download at the same time?

Skipping is caused by unreliable networks. Update to version 3.6.1 and enable the Download Before Playing setting. Have used this app for years but... Recently everytime I go into the app it says I'm in offline mode despite being on WiFi and connected to the Internet. The only way to rectify is to uninstall and then re download. Only works once then back to square one. If this gets fixed I would come back but as it stands I can't listen to anything.
Love but needs a better way to search I love this app. My only, but big complaint is the search criteria. I wanted to look up the name of a specific podcast and I got over 66,000 hits. There should be an advanced search option or just options in general rather than searching EVERY podcast known to man.
A few persistent bugs. The counter for hours listened stopped counting well over a year ago and persists with several releases since then. Also, with the latest release stitcher launches in offline mode and the only known work around is to close and rapidly relaunch the app... any delay in relaunching the app causes the app to relaunch in offline mode. I would give the app 4-5 stars if the UI hadn't changed several releases ago and these bugs were fixed... the previous UI was flawless and these bugs are presistent.
Houston, we have a problem... I feel so betrayed. I can't listen to any of my FAVORITE podcast because it buffers every 5 seconds for about an hour at a time. I've tried reinstalling it and restarting my phone, but nothing works. What happened? This update has made things go terribly wrong. I hate that I have to remove this app but at this rate... there is no point in keeping it. -bad vibes
New Episodes are not available I see in the description that there a a new episode or there was one over the last few days and when I look for it it's not there. I have been using this app for over 5 years and I am getting fed up with it. plus every afternoon it takes forever to listen to one pod cast. this app used to be awesome but now it sucks. if this doesn't change soon I'm going to sound cloud.
I Used to love Stitcher. But after months of struggling though glitches, I'm deleting it and changing to a better system. They really were one of the pioneers in this category of app, but they've not kept up the quality. Edit: Wow, pretty damn snarky response from Stitcher. Their app is the only one on my phone to glitch while I'm on reliable Wifi/4G. Have repeatedly ensured that Stitcher was only app affected. Fix your app. Don't attack your users.

Glitches are caused by unreliable networks and improperly configured remote audio servers, neither of which are within Stitcher's control. Update to version 3.6.1 and enable the Download Before Playing setting. A nice idea, but worthless The idea to aggregate podcasts is great, but this is a very poor execution. I have yet to listen to a single podcast that did not skip. (I thought we solved that problem in the digital age, but here we are.) Finding and subscribing to your favorite podcasts when you know exactly what you're looking for is difficult. The interface makes it totally hopeless. The ads are unnecessarily intrusive with no premium, ad-free version. Off I go to try the dozens of other applications that do all of these things well.
My podcasts have started jumping around?? Things happen, but I can see you all are working on it. I have over 2k hours of listening on Stitcher and Im not interested in switching. Also shows offline when I have a signal sometimes.

-The Stitcher Team Invasive ads Plays fine but the new ads system is way to invasive. Like pop-ups on a website they just appear and take up most of the screen. Then it takes 2 or 3 presses of the X to close them only for them to pop back up. Annoying and pretty much irrelevant adverts for me as they are all US adverts
Little things add up. Overall the app is great but if you could set it to download onto an SD card it wouldn't take up all of your memory if you want to be ready for offline listening. Also it should not delete episodes I pause to finish later. That's just stupid, if I pause it means I intend to finish it later.
What's with the latest update, folks? All I can tell you is I start with this app each day, and for one reason or another i have to switch to Podcast Addict. The weird sound which keeps playing after a podcast stops is getting annoying but am hopeful you will fix it. I still love this app.
Small issues Mostly, a quality app. I've logged 10000 hours on stitcher and enjoy the interface overall. My complaints are not being able to contact anyone about issues I have. I've emailed them 10 times without a response, unacceptable. Also, If getting your pods as soon as they come out is important, this isn't the app for you. It is easy to use and is aesthetically pleasing though
Not Going downhill! Edit: their latest update fixed my issues - thanks guys! :-) Has been great, but now freezes everytime i try to delete saved episodes. That, coupled with the data hogging others have mentioned (oh and the intrusive ads) make this unusable :-/ Now researching a replacement podcast app...

Update to version 3.6.1 and enable the Minimize Cellular Data setting. Intrusive ads now spoiling the app And I find it hard to simply download a podcast to play later. Why not a download button instead of that listen later button which behaves seemingly at random. I'm switching.
Good idea, but very buggy As usual after the latest update the app is worthless. I've used this app for years, the idea is good, but it just doesn't work. It will not download for off line listening , and won't stream for more than 5 minutes. Also says I'm offline when I'm not. I know it'll get fixed, but I'm tired of having to find my podcasts on another app while I wait for sticher to get its act together. I'll sadly be switching to a more reliable app
Great app, but ads ruin it. Not what you think... So I'm listening to a podcast, when an ad plays, no biggie, but when the ad finishes, it moves to another podcast and loses the place of the one I was listening to. So annoying! Same problem even after update.

Update to version 3.6.1. Absolutely garbage This app is a monstrous failure. It crashes constantly, buffers infinitely, even on a fantastic wifi connection it crawls at a snails pace. It's barely customizable. It is just a poorly constructed app that fights you every step of the way. There are much better alternatives to Stitcher.

Good app.... works very well, the only problem I have is you cannot load podcasts on to an SD card... which as a truck driver, would be nice to take a few weeks worth of podcasts along... since I'm gone all the time...
Keeps Skipping I have used Stitcher for years and have always liked it but for the past six months or so I've been experiencing intermittent skipping in the middle of the podcasts where the audio will skip ahead and then skip backwards to the point where you don't know if you've missed something and you have to piece info together like a puzzle. Perhaps it's my Samsung S5 but most of my other apps work fine.
Not user friendly This app lacks several features that I've come to appreciate in other apps. Stitcher does not allow me to see a description of a podcast. Instead it shows descriptions of the individual episodes and that is all. Secondly, I can't figure out how to watch several episodes of the same podcast in order without taking time to put each episode manually into a playlist. I also wish I could adjust the episode lists so I'm seeing oldest episodes first. I will be uninstalling this and trying another podcast app.
What happened? This was a great app. Now the audio skips around in the middle of listening and it's hard to follow. The recent update is even worse. Jumps to random channels while listening. Changes to offline mode in the middle of podcasts and won't let me change it back....Stitcher is f@#$%n up.... also quit telling people that the skipping is due to poor Cell connection because it never used to happen before, and it doesn't happen on other podcast apps. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND SWITCH TO PODBEAN

I loved the interface at first but now i can't listen to a podcast without the audio skipping back and forth every dang minute.
Ads are intrusive and aggravating. Not only do they highjack the podcasts and insert their ads. But while navigating through the app they pop up making navigation difficult and irritating.
Uses a ton of data!!! I tried to download a podcast over WiFi and it wouldn't work, so I tried to do it over cellular network it wouldn't work. I had the minimize cellular data checked in the settings, so I thought I would just listen streaming for a while. It would stop playing while streaming, loose my place and start over and it ended up using over 1GB of data in a couple hours listening! I'm even having issues downloading episodes over WiFi. Not sure what happened here but I've never had these kinds of problems before.
Amazing. It's working perfectly now, so am afraid to update ;>} (10/2016). My favorite app by far! User since 2011. Thru all ups and downs of issues, still depend on this app daily.
