Photo Loader is Still Garbage Need to give option of which image/file browser to use when sending pictures. The FB Messenger one is TEDIOUSLY ANNOYING how it loads everything when it is simpler to browse to specific folders that you know where what your looking for is rather than having to wait while it sorts through and loads 1000+ images and vids I have on my phone.

Unsatisfactory Its Stupid. I downloaded it because now it's the only way to see my fb messages from fb friends. As Aposed to the old way where you just check it in the fb app. I don't need it to be apart of my text messages I don't need a little stupid bubble on my screen that pops up every time I get a message. And I don't need it to take up space on any device. So yes I hate it. Go back to the old way thank you.

Sharing posts is still useless Messenger doesn't work well for attachments shared with or from me. If a Facebook post is shared within a conversation and the post has an image or video, only the image or video is viewable in the conversation. I can't get to the original post or see the message that was in the original post. I shared a post with a friend so I could find it later, but all I could see was the video, I couldn't get back to the original post which had a link in it that I wanted. That's not useful at all.

Camera problems First of all this app has too many permissions. Main problem is the camera. Although is on rotation setting when I use other apps the camera causes to default horizontal photo taking, which effects the pictures because for some reason all the pictures taken end up upside down. Never fails! It only happens when messenger is installed. I have to constantly uninstall and install all over again only to get the same result. It beats when you can't be in front of your laptop/computer to view your messages. :(

Messenger App. Has Slightly Improved. While the slight improvement is not having to update every other day I still only give this App 1 star as it and the Facebook App 👎 are the slowest Apps to install that I've ever encountered, 15 minutes or more installing during the updates😴. I don't know why these Facebook Applications take a very long time to install during the updating process while other maker's apps don't but it shows where Facebook's developers aren't making improvement.

Not Customizable No way to customize or even add something as simple as timestamps, not to mention other things. Also, it reads your messages without asking, and then offers things to you. F you fb.

Why after working so well for years am I now having trouble seeing my contacts..just keeps buffering. I have uninstalled and installed it twice and still getting the same problem!
Attention Zenfone Users! After having so many issues with chats not loading. I HAVE A WORK AROUND. Make sure you are fresh installing the app for this. As you sign in and it asks for you to "confirm your number": skip this and confirm your number manually. It will sync your messages but not load but don't worry, just force close the app and re open and your messages should now load. Now... FACEBOOK FIX THIS, IT'S BEEN BROKEN FOR AGES NOW, AT LEAST THIS GIVES INSIGHT ON WHERE THE ISSUE IS.
Had to Update This app is very 'hip' with the new comers. I dislike that it tells me my notifications but I do see how it can be useful. I feel as though fb is trying to 'take over your day' but what app doesnt want that? Smart team behind fb because it definitely has become an added daily use
Stay Out of my Phonebook!! There is NOTHING cool or appealing about you accessing my phone logs. And don't force me to download an app to just to see my fb messages. You guys do everything wrong and you repeatedly steal my contacts. And while we're on that, give me my internet identity back. I don't WANT my terrestrial identity on the goddamned net because that is and always has been foolish. Foolbook. That's what you are.
Crap This is the answer to a question that nobody asked. Can't access archived messages from this app, and trying to do it from fb just opens the app that won't let you do it. It's forced interaction with people; It's none of anyone's business if I've read/seen their messages or not.
Not bad I like it... now l am phoned my fb friend by it, and video calling..😊.... but sometime it's not work properly... because of slow connection.

Unnecessary resource hog This app is slow between the transition of going to my Facebook and this app, it's an unnecessary lapse of time. Also, it keeps running in the background even when I force it to stop.

If it ain't broke..don't fix it! Supposed to be a new improved version..but hate how long it takes to load my messages. Also, as I have a separate fb page for my jewellery designs..whenever one of my friends posts a comment about a recent design I have shared to my page..it takes me fffffs ages to receive it, never mind "find" the foooooooker! Grrr!

Worst Always showing massage notification on icon when i check messenger there is no new massage.i am also facing Connection problem after every single massage i lost connection and its keep saying waiting for network.
