Nostalgia, better if in console Good game, very old school, pretty deep for a mobile game. Would have liked this even more if it was on vita or 3ds so you can play nonstop without waiting for the stamina to recharge. I would have paid full retail price for this if they did so. Never been a fan of microtransactions especially for FF games, it is very out of place. Also, FF is not really for casual gamers they are too in-depth so you have to have incredible patience to play this. Please add item usage especially in battles.

Awesomesauce! One issue though... I love how you can "throw" yourself into every Final Fantasy game across history. And especially obtaining special characters to fight with? What a relief to relive the old games, even if you still own those old cartridges and discs. Update: In FFVIII realm, the boss of the Magical Lamp is "Diablos", but his name is listed as his FFXII counterpart "Diabolos". That is my only issue, because I'm a diehard FFVIII fanatic.

Awesome game! Very addictive! The surprises keep coming. So much fun stuff to do! I love it! Keep the surprises coming! I wish that a monster would drop a Phoenix Down every now and then, except for only potions. Final fantasy at its greatest! However, the mote bosses are Way too hard! Cannot ever beat them! Can we be given a chance, even a slim one? Great game!!!

Too many crashes since past few updates, just gets worse 5star drop rates reduced on global version. it needs an easier way to achieve 5 star ability orbs or make the amount of orbs needed to make 5 star abilities lower. There is a large gap between level 99 difficulty and level 99+ difficulty and that further inhibits the ability to achieve a second soul crystal, also lightnings second soulbreak record materia didnt show up. Love the game though.

Best F2P game! I've been playing this game since it started and have also tried others (such as FFBE), but this is the only one I haven't quit. It's fun, continuously has new content that challenges you without forcing you to pay. Nothing is a grind in this game and it doesn't make you feel like anything you do is a chore. They're also very generous with their currency, but I have gladly donated to them periodically because they respect the gamer. And of course, everything is FF and nostalgia awesome. Kudos!

Awsome! I usually don't download games but I took a chance on FF and I Love It! But...I just changed my vote to 3 bc The Game Crashes After Almost Every Battle now! Please help or fix and I'll give you 5 stars again :(

More growth egg drops & faster stamina regeneration Like the game but hard for me to do heroic dungeons cuz my characters level sooo slow. Also would be nice if the stamina would regenerate faster or make it bigger? Also would be nice if the graphics were a little better. I don't really like pixel characters that much :/

Game wise but too internet based For me I'll just speak out the problems I am having now. Its just sucks that it always need internet connection while entering a new dungeon, but it will always automatically and purposely fail the connection and have to restart all over again. I am telling you Dena, this is fricking annoying and troublesome to us. Please fix and thanks.

Updates killed it for me Had this game installed for a bit over a year and really enjoyed it but now I spend half my game time loading rather than playing. Gets old fast so I play less. Content is good, always multiple events ongoing and login bonuses are great.

Deep fun nostalgia This game is pretty awesome. Been playing for years now. Itches that final fantasy nostalgia bug. I play every single day. Not too complicated but not so basic it is boring. Very fun. Give it a try and stick with it for a bit even if you don't immediately love it. It grows on you. New content updated weekly.

Was cool, got bad, then got better They give you some freebies to get you started, but it starts to get so difficult to get achievements without high end gear...and the only way to do that is to draw them...and the only ways to do that are mythril or gems (which require $). It used to be where you could spend weeks saving up for an 11 pull, and get nothing...especially during events. Now, it's guaranteed at least one 5-star relic. Good start. They also seem to be giving more mythril these days...

Great overall Looks and plays like a classic Final Fantasy. Characters from everywhere in the series is a nice touch. My only complaint is with the current Android version, the game locks up fairly often after a battle is done and I want to follow the guest character, or when I want to move on to the next battle, it locks at the battle confirmation dialog box. Hope this is fixed soon because it often prevents me from adding anyone.

Warning!!!!! Warning!!! Warning!!! You think oh retro. Oh I love ff games. So did I. But if you don't have high speed data left it won't play. So my advice... Move on and save your cash. I downloaded and never got to play because I was out of my WiFi area . 4g LTE is not fast enough for this "retro" game. You were warned.

The Best Mobile FINAL FANTASY Game As a newcomer to Square Enix's star franchise, I really enjoy this game. The battle system is reminiscent of old Final Fantasy games, and the game sprites are pixelated, evoking the feel of the original titles. It even includes the original game music! The gameplay is not too complex, and the fights are mostly balanced. The game jumps between different battles from the series, with a brief paragraph for context. It's great fun, and runs without ads or pay-to-play nonsense. New updates every week!

Worked before latest update... I used to love this game. Played it for almost 2 years now, but all of a sudden, the game no longer even starts up anymore. I get as far as the log in screen and then nothing. Game continues to "load" endlessly, but doesn't get me in. Help!?

Brings back memories It's a bit early to say it's not bad for a free to play game. But so far, I haven't felt the pressure or need to pay to progress. The music from all the games and the gimmicks to every boss fight really bring back good nostalgia.

Newer Version -Most annoying bug Big Bug Alert: Randomly shuts down, during battle and in dungeons. Needs fixed, badly. Seems pretty cool so far. Concept is good. I love the music. UPDATED REVIEW: The additional content is great and game play has been expanded for a better experience. The events are engaging. I highly recommend this game if you're a Final Fantasy fan.

Best free final fantasy I love these kind of games. They dont require movement of any kind and their menus are easy to navigate. You fight in a final fantasy 7 type style, and introduses you in that same game. Overall this game is easy to use and nastalgic filled. But sadly with the newest update, my game crashes every 2nd battle, so untill they fix that, that'll lower my rating.

Final Fantasy Relived.... This game is a great choice for any hardcore Final Fantasy fan that wants to relive moments of past greats. Great graphics and they even kept key soundtracks from each specific game making you feel like a kid again....

Laggy Graphics Somehow the game does not work out on Galaxy Tab A 2016 with S Pen, soul break graphics are so delayed and lag. It works perfectly even for older models like Note 3 and ipad air. Is there something wrong with the game compatibility towards Galaxy Tab A 2016?

Cool Game Very fun game so far! I only have one complaint: The victory fanfare keeps playing during the loading screen and the loading takes very long. :/ I love listening to the classic FF music, but listening to the victory fanfare for more than half a minute after every single battle is driving me nuts! This song just wasn't composed to be listened to for longer than 10s. If the developers read this... PLEASE CHANGE THIS!!!! Thank you!

Great idea! Some poor execution. Too many menus. For a game that should be played when I have a few minutes here and there I get bombarded with too many menus. Many of which were very confusing when I first started. Also I have an issue where the screen is shown a little bit lower than it should and it covers the buttons on the bottom.

I LOVE IT! I'm seriously addicted. Plus, even if each battle cost a lot of energy, the refills are so fast that you can actually put your phone down for a while and tend to other things while the energy refills!

Lots of fun WITHOUT paying! I have technically invested $30 in this game, but it was after a year of playing and I felt I owed them for all the fun I had. This game is so much fun and it isn't pushy one bit when it comes to selling you currency. I forgot there's even currency to buy! Free to have fun!

Its amazing for android phones I love the 8bit characters. The ammount of dungeons, battles, characters and enemies, plus seems not a must to invest in, i wiĺl do it just to show apreciation. Edit: the strategy and planning required for higher lv battles and dungeons is challenging. I'm loving it. Gacha is not ez but still worthy.

Still want Crystal Chronicles Thank you Square Enix for the constant updates. I wish you could hear me out and add Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. You made a Clavat character for Theatrythm from Crystal Chronicles, why not make an event to be able to add him? You made the enemy sprites for all but the Chimeras. Please... Please hear me out, dev team.

I loved it, everything about it but after playing sooooo many hours upon hours it now exits itself out of the app after every battle. I win a battle and it goes to my home screen and i have to reload the app again. But I still play it because its absolutely is amazing see all the characters from later final fantasy games in 2d graphics. Nothing beats the original graphics. Please help me figure out how to fix my issue it wont stop me from playing it because i will regardless but it can be a pain to reload

Worth a try Complex enough to keep me interested but simple enough to play on the go. Not much of a pay wall and you get to re visit some great memories in final fantasy history with game play that feels like FF. Worth a download

Game is great all around! You get to relive all the moments. Play many characters. And the game updates pretty nicely. You guys even got the long loading times right! The load times being 70 percent of the game hit me right in the feels.

Game keeps crashing The game keeps crashing after battles during loading screens. I have no idea what triggered it as the game was working fine a few weeks before. I don't know if it was the game update or perhaps something to do with Google play. Tried clearing cache, reinstalling the app, haven't found a solution yet. I'm on a Galaxy S4 with Android 5.0.1

Not bad If you like final fantasy games...just know it's gatcha.it's not as bad as some but it has some bad moments. Can be a lot of fun but it can be repeative....DNA is a little generous to global players.DNA is also pretty fast addressing some game issues...it's a good game for a Gatcha game some would say great.I say good and it's fun overall

Overall good game Everyone else is giving praise were praise is due, so I'll cut to why I won't give it 5 stars. Randomness. The weapons you get are largely random, via the Relic Draw. A few good weapons are obtainable through other means, but this doesn't make up for the frustration of repeatedly missing out on items and abilities that you have your heart set on. Despite this, the game is well made with frequent updates and is still an overall fun game worth 4 stars.

nice It's a really nice combination of FF stories and characters. It has every character from the main series (plus some class-characters and a couple from tactics) and it jumps around those games' stories. Only flaw I found is that big parts of the games' story are skipped. Gameplay-wise it looks a lot like a typical FF game and it has an 8-bit look.

Good with some issues Interesting concept and fun to play. But I could do without the use of stamina. I want to be able to play when I want, and having to wait is inconvenient. Also the load times take a bit too long. But overall, a good game.
