European Conference on Countering Antisemitism, Hungary, 2016
Over 120 participants from 16 different countries across Europe attended the 2016 WZO European Conference on Countering Antisemitism organized by the World Zionist Organization.
The conference was held the weekend of September 16-18 in Budapest, Hungary with the participation of government officials, academics, senior representatives of the WZO and students.
“It’s time to stop talking and start acting. Upon a recent visit to France, it was brought to my attention that Jews would not hang mezuzahs on their doors for fear of being targeted, or in the best -case scenario, hang them inside their houses. This atmosphere of fear must end, and the World Zionist Organization will do anything in its power to help this come to fruition”.
Today, July 18, 2016, Paraguayan President Horacio Cartesand his considerable delegation of Ministers and foreign press, arrived at Mount Herzl to commemorate the work and memory of Theodor Herzl.
