To get started, you'll need to generate (or reuse) a HipChat API token to paste into the management portal for StatusPage.

To do this, login to HipChat and click Edit Profile > API Access.

Note: Your API key MUST select both "Send Notification" and "View Group" from the Scopes multi-select box (Cmd + Click or Shift + Click to select both).

Click Create and copy the API Key that gets generated.

Go to ChatOps > HipChat page and enter the token.
