Playback Issues

Hey everyone, we’re seeing issues across the website, iOS and Android apps that is resulting in tracks being unable to play.

We’re investigating the issue and we’re hoping to get this resolved quickly.

We’re still experiencing issues with playback across all platforms (website, iOS and Android). It’s also possible some users might experience issues with uploading. Unfortunately, the issues are proving more difficult to resolve than first thought. 

We’re continuing to investigate and will provide updates as things develop.

Les problèmes techniques rendant la lecture de titres impossible sur le site, iOS et Android n’ont pas encore été résolus. Il est également possible que certains utilisateurs rencontrent certains problèmes pour uploader de nouveaux titres.
Ce soucis est malheureusement plus difficile à identifier que prévu - nous espérons pouvoir le résoudre le plus rapidement possible.

Private tracks appearing as public

Hey everyone, an error in an earlier deploy has resulted in some issues with private tracks. We’re working hard to fix this.

We’ve rolled back the change and the issues re private tracks have now been fixed. Apologises for any distress caused by this.

Uploading Issues

We’re experiencing some downtime with uploading on the site at the moment that we’re working to fix ASAP. We’ll update here once this is resolved.

Stats Maintenance

June 13th, 2016  

Our data team is currently reprocessing play information for the last 3 months to ensure accuracy across all stats views. As a result of this you may see changes in your play counts across different stats views such as the track stats page, main stats page and the play count underneath the waveform of the track page. Please know this is due to the play data now being corrected, and discrepancies between different views being amended.

Once this correct data has been fully processed, the most accurate and up to date play information will be displaying on your tracks. We will update here once the processing has finished.

August 3rd, 2016 

This data reprocessing has now been completed, so all discrepancies and inflated stats should be removed.

Connectivity Issues

RSS Feed Maintenance

We will be doing maintenance on our site shortly that will affect RSS feeds. This feature will be disabled for all tracks until further notice. Please continue to check our Status Blog for updates.

We are still doing maintenance on our site that is affecting RSS feeds. Please bear with us while we restore this feature. We appreciate your continued patience.

Our essential maintenance work is still ongoing and RSS feeds are still temporarily disabled. We will be deploying a fix soon that will be a gradual rollout. This means you should see services return to normal within a 24 hour period.

After that time - the best thing you can do is refresh your feed with iTunes in order to make sure they’re pulling all the correct information.

What you’ll need to do is login with your account used to submit the podcast to iTunes’ Podcasts Connect portal they offer: http://podcastsconnect.apple.com/ and click your podcast to see details, then click “Refresh”. This triggers the iTunes Store to re-check your feed.

Fortunately our maintenance work has completed and all RSS feeds have been enabled again. This means everything should be up and running for you again. 

You shouldn’t need to refresh your feed in itunes but we’d suggest trying it if you are still having issues.

Play Count Issues

We’re looking into issues with play counts not updating underneath the waveforms of tracks. The counts are being successfully collected on the stats page so you can view your correct count in the meantime. More information here when we have it.
