Table of contents - swipe left on any article to bring up the table of contents, which lets you jump to article sections easily.

Reading lists - Organize the articles you browse into reading lists, which you can access even when you're offline. Create as many lists as you like, give them custom names and descriptions, and populate them with articles from any language wiki.

Image gallery - Tap on an image to view the image full-screen in high resolution, with options to swipe for browsing additional images.

Definitions from Wiktionary - Tap-and-hold to highlight a word, then tap the "Define" button to see a definition of the word from Wiktionary.

Wikipedia Zero - Access Wikipedia for Android free of data charges for participating mobile operators. (link to participating operators).

Fast Perfekt Es kommt manchmal Werbung in der Benachrichtigungsleiste (war zumindest mal so - wenn das entfernt wurde korrigiert mich) diese kann man aber unter Einstellungen > Apps / Appmanger / Anwendungen > Wikipedia > Benachrichtigungen anzeigen deaktivieren. Das Design ist modern und wenn man vergisst, dass man die App installiert hat und sucht etwas bei Google verweist die App einen auf die Wikipedia App.

I could easily live without google, but NEVER without Wikipedia! And now I can access it anywhere, anytime! Tabbed interface is very useful. Saving feature is also nice to access some pages when offline; perhaps it could be even better if that feature would be linked to the account so I could have the same pages across devices or get back on clean reinstall. There is also problem with fonts missing some diacritic letters (e.g. Indian languages - Sanskrit, Pali etc.)

Knowledge is power I'm the sort of person that loves to learn just for learnings sake. I often spend hours upon hours snaking my way through Wikipedia articles. By the end of an evening of binge reading I will have had dozens of tabs open. Just remember that wikis may not be unnecessarily reliable source of information, and always check the footnotes and references in each article if you're going to use any of the articles for an academic paper. This is a must have app for any phone.

You are asking for donations in order to remain independent, and rightly so! I'll be happy to donate as usual. However you might receive a few more donations if you add an option to remove the dreadful, intrusive "cards" from the front-end of the app. They are ugly, too numerous and above all invasive of privacy. Many people hate these so-called cards, but you have ignored the requests for control over them.

No longer linking to IMDB app I still use this every day, but I'm a major film buff. I NEED you to bring back linking directly to the IMDB app. It's such a pain in the a$$ to look up the movie I'm watching in both apps separately. Yes, I'm lazy. Also, I'm not fan of the new interface. It's messy and has mostly irrelevant information. Depending on algorithms is not always a good thing.

Talking about the Application, it's neatly arranged but somewhat it's not as satisfactory as it's Web Site form, I guess you'll update it in future with most simple layout to it, and talking about Wikipedia, it's the best, none can compete it so 5 stars aren't enough for it. I would have gave 4 and half, as the app isn't much simple to use.

Constantly improving Every new update shows the ambition and innovation that is driving this team of devs - one of the few apps that I'm excited to update to see what they have in the works. Hasn't been buggy or unresponsive - not thrilled about the color change but if that's my biggest complaint, you're doing things right.

Wrong map of India Clicked on the nearby button only to find out that the map of india is shown wrong. I agree that those zones are into conflict but the Indian government and judiciary has made it clear on International Levels that the display of such a map is wrong. Please change it to orignal and correct map of India.

One of the best apps I like this app because there's so much information and knowledge that you can get from it. I use Wikipedia often for research when I whenever I write a movie or a screenplay. If you're going to write a movie about any subject that's always good to do lots and lots of research that way it'll help tell your story in a way that you wanted to so I highly recommend this app to all those who may or may not be storytellers or those who just want to know some history so I definitely recommend this app.

Caution I would sooner trust the content of graffiti in the men's room at a brothel before I would trust half of the content on Wikipedia. Wikipedia has devolved into a single-minded haven for anarchists, atheists, ne'er-do-wells, losers, and other nincompoops. The bias against Catholicism, Christianity, conservatism, and anything that opposes a secular agenda is glaring. Wikipedia started years ago already with a shaky reputation for its reliability, and it has become *worse*, if that were even possible.

The previous version was much better The previous one had the option of searching for a particular saved page.It is inconvenient to search for a particular page among many.And it would be better if the images of saved pages also loaded properly each and every time in offline mode.

Wikipedia, Very Informative, but not at all 100% correct ... Do not take the cited as absolute truths. They may seem right. Remember however a person who has signed up for an account can ruin a good article, by editing it. If you do know what has been written as being a 100% true comment, and other remarks as not so. It may be a users way to rewrite history in the article you are reading ... believing the fskse info may cause course failure. While that major couse depended on your final grade. The better your final mark when applying to graduate school is very real!

There is no option to read the article in another language, like the web version where you can also see the list of the available languages for that particular article. Search is also limited to one language at a time, so you cannot find something you don't know exactly in what languages it was written.

What's wrong with it? When I search for something it comes up with results that have nothing to do with what I typed. Either that or it just doesn't have a clue what it is I've typed. I have to Google it then click on the Wikipedia link. Why the hell!?

Completely broken now! The audio was not working on the app for months and no word. Now I can't use the app at all, I type something into the search bar and nothing pulls up, it status on the front page with the cards. Wikipedia, PLEASE FIX THIS. Thank you.

Best App for Reference Wikipedia is a really good website and now that it has an app for Android it got even much better! It is loaded of pages of information which you can save for offline reading. Whenever I want to know about something, I go straight to this app because it provides a whole lot of information on a specific topic on one page with reference links. And the best part of it all? No ads and it's free! Thank you Wikipedia developers! ☺

I love Wikipedia, but those cards... There should be an option to turn those off if you want--especially the trending articles and the "Since you read...." cards. Either that or introduce a private browsing mode.

When I log in it will say that I've logged in successfully, but when I open the pain it says 'log in' indicating I'm not logged in. It does this everytime and I can't actually log in to my account.
