Want to start a new Meetup and become an organizer?
Anyone who wishes to organize a Meetup may subscribe through the app. An organizer subscription entitles you to create up to three Meetups with an unlimited number of members and co-organizers. Meetup offers 1-month and 6-month subscription plans based on the location of your Meetup. Your first 30 days are free.
Prices for Meetups created in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia:
Unlimited 1-month: $14.99
All other countries:
Unlimited 1-month: $9.99
Unlimited 6-month: $29.99

Simple to use and easy to see what else is happening in my city
This app is pretty straightforward. I am digging the latest design of app and I don't think I have ever had trouble managing my Meetup group's needs through it. Anything that helps me interact with people without having to hop on a computer if I'm not already on one is always welcomed.
Previously I believe here was some issue with the address of my Meetup getting interpreted weird and routing people to that different interpretation of the address. I think this has to do with the Meetup system or the app itself trying to force me to choose a known address it could cross-reference as opposed to the actual, correct address of the location for our Meetup. This no longer seems to be an issue for our group as far as I'm aware.
Great work on the app Meetup. Don't ever stop listening to your users and questioning if you can do things better. We all can!
Great connection
I'm not a techie, so I leave those comments to others. What few minor issues I've had in the past couple of years seem to have disappeared.
Meetup has been life-changing through the simple connection of like-minded people. Amazing it took so long to think it up. I love it because one is not expected to be looking for a partner. It is, of course, fabulous for that if that is where you are. But I just love exploring different interests with minimal commitment. And what has happened is that I've found new "families." Lots of fun. Don't stay home alone. Unless you want to.
Pretty good overall
This is a pretty good app. Once you are a member of a group it easy to find all the info about each group's meeting details: where it is, who is going or not going, what the agenda is, etc.
My suggestions for improvements are: i) a better calendar view to be able to see at a glance what upcoming Meetups you have (it used to be really easy in the version before ~Jun 2016), and ii) make it easier to search/browse/find groups to join, and iii) get a simple list summary of all the groups I have already joined.
But as I said before, it's really quite a good app but needs a couple of UI tweaks
