Comprehensive Excel Class: Effective & Efficient Calculations & Data Analysis, Basic to Advanced
Student Outcomes:
1) Develop Effective and Efficient and solutions in Excel.
2) Use Microsoft Excel to solve typical business related problems with an emphasis on: 1) Making effective and efficient numeric, logical and text calculations and 2) effectively and efficiently converting raw data into useful information.
3) Understand Data Analysis and Business Intelligence terms and use data analysis concepts to create useful information from raw data:
4) Understanding the structure of an excel file as: Cells, Worksheets, Sheet Tabs and Workbooks
5) Using keyboards to accomplish tasks quickly
6) Understand and Utilize Number Formatting as Façade
7) Use Style Formatting, Number Formatting and Page Setup to present information in an effect way.
8) Use Proper Data Sets and correct Data Types to leverage Excel’s full capabilities
9) Create Effective and Efficient Formulas that can make numeric, logical and text calculations and perform data analysis, including extensive coverage of types of formulas, formula elements, lookup formulas, array formulas and much more.
10) Preform Data Analysis and Business Intelligence with Excel’s Built in Data Analysis feature such as Sort, Filter, Power Query, PivotTables and Power Pivot. Learn the concepts and techniques for how to importing, clean and transform data from multiple sources in order to build refreshable reports, dashboards and other data analysis outputs.
11) Automate tasks using Recorded Macros and VBA from the Internet:
