    Proud to say the AL Senate has passed the largest ETF Budget in history! Was able to include teacher pay raises to the tune of 4%, among many other things. Many thanks to all my colleagues who helped with its passage!

    Appreciate my colleagues passing Senate Bill 202 yesterday. A “boring” bill for most but will provide safeguards for cities and counties to avoid incurring long-term bond debt that they might not be able to service. We’ve had several in past that have had to file bankruptcy.
