    I’ll add: learning to laugh at one’s self, when the situation calls for it, is also good for mental health

    Best thing I've learned to do over the last few years: laugh at absurd situations and absurd people, then distance myself from them. This includes using the Mute/Block buttons on Twitter. My life is so much happier.
