    In 1963 the Worboys Committee recommended diagonal bars through everything that was prohibited. The Ministry removed them. So here’s some familiar signs with unfamiliar red bars.

    About 15 years ago I created a word for road enthusiasts to use to talk about places where you have to Turn Off To Stay On the same road - TOTSO. Today I learned it now has its own German-language Wikipedia entry... 😲

    I now have a working copy of the site on a development server with no errors showing. If it’s still clean in a day or two I plan to roll it out to the live site.

    Hello! I’ve been quiet lately while I try to fix something dodgy in the database that runs the site - it’s been wonky for about six months but a couple of weeks ago it went properly wrong.
