D23 Nissan Navara 2.3 Bi-Turbo Tuned!
Today we have had in the latest D23 Nissan Navara fitted with Renaults 2.3 DCI Bi-Turbo engine. From the factory this engine claims 190bhp and 332lbft which has proven to give strong performance both on and off road. These Bi-Turbo 2.3 engines are new to the tuning market as the protocols required for tuning, the Continental SID310, have only very recently been released by the hardware companies.
The dyno figures, as always, are used as a means for comparison of the before and after tuning. Whereas most vehicles are very close to the manufacturers claims, this 2.3 Bi-Turbo made almost stock torque figures but the bhp figures are slightly higher than claimed.
