The Romans had two attempts to invade Britain. First, it led by Julius Ceasar in 55 and 54 but he failed. The actual invasion was by Emperor Claudius in 43 A.D. They constructed a strong legal system in Britain, constructed roads system developed a taxation system and an agricultural system and showed interest in the engineering skills.
According to religion, they brought Christianity to Britain and spread it over the 4th century. Eventually, the Romans withdrew from Britain at the end of the 4th century and left the whole kingdom in the 5th century.

Aurora, the goddess of dawn, sits enthroned on a cloud while a winged genius crowns her with a wreath of red and white flowers. Her arms outstretched and raised, Aurora holds a torch in her right hand and a small bouquet of flowers in her left. A putto flies forward carrying a gilded dish of more flowers. Night looms behind but, as goddess of dawn, Aurora will soon dispel the darkness. Below, her aged husband Tithonus shields his eyes from his wife's brightness. After seducing Tithonus when he was young and beautiful, Aurora asked Zeus to grant him immortality, but she forgot to ask for eternal youth as well. Every morning, the eternally youthful goddess had to rise and bid goodbye to Tithonus, who grows older each day.
This large canvas and its pendant, Venus at the Forge of Vulcan, were probably parts of a larger ensemble made for the Procurator Canale in Venice. The series may commemorate a marriage, as the two pictures depict gifts exchanged between goddesses and their husbands....

Lippi was born in Florence in1406 to Tommaso, a butcher, and his wife. When he was still a small child, both his parents died. He was sent to live with his aunt Mona Lapaccia; however because she was too poor to rear him, she placed him in the neighboring Carmelite convent. He was 8 years old when he left for the convent and started his education there. In 1420 he was admitted to the community of Carmelite friars of the Priory of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Florence, taking religious vows in the Order the following year, at the age of sixteen. He was ordained as a priest in approximately 1425, and remained in residence of that priory until 1432.

Son of the god Saturn and Ops, brother of Jupiter and Pluto. Originally the god of fountains and water currents, earthquakes and breeder of horses. Neptune had many loves, mostly passengers. His main wife was Salacia (Roman counterpart of Amphitrite) a nereid, who gave him as the son the newts, sea monsters with bearded human faces and tails like the dolphins. Other wives were Halia, Amimona, Toosa (who with him had Polyphemus), Ceres, Medusa (with whom he had Pegasus and Crisaor) and Clito (who had the eldest son Atlas).

Foreign tourists’ passports will not be stamped in Iran in order to ease entry rules and also to counter US bilateral sanctions against Iran. The resumption of sanctions against Iran began in May when the US withdrew from the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action known as the #Iran_nuclear_agreement. With no entry or exit stamps on the tourists’ passports, #Iran will provide peace of mind for those who want to travel to Iran, the country of friendly people, #ancient cultures and intact nature.
