Not true. If you don't ask the right kind of question then the devs jump all over you and -1 or more your question if it is too general - you all need to bring back the GAS google group so newbies can safely ask general questions without getting booted around by devs who like to feel superior to regular users just trying to figure GAS out.
Stackoverflow is a "community" with "rules" about no general questions we never asked to be a part of. Bring back GAS google group.

We are using Google Documents List API v3 in our project, and I think we will move in 3-6 months.
In the meantime, why Java samples have been removed (along with Python) an only Protocol and .net samples are available?
In V2 & V1 (deprecated before) Java samples remain.
