    Thanks for promoting my article. Am I deluded that after 8 years in Government was are 43% in the polls? The British electorate love to send subtle messages to politicians - but will never vote for extremists.

    Ah ha! So you are suggesting that a tweet that highlighted the moral bankruptcy of policy towards the Carnegie - might have changed opinion? Not sure this does it for me Chris - it is ‘highlighting’ not ‘persuading on principle’ - don’t stop now. Keep thinking.

    Sensible investment boosts GDP and cuts the debt-to-GDP ratio. The UK currently invests much less than our competitors and that's why we have low productivity. If we want to increase real wages, we need to invest more.
