I wrote about the pro-active voting rights agenda that progressives should prioritize & organize around in states:

  2. Did voter ID laws contribute to Clinton's defeat? The answer might be found in Milwaukee

  3. White supremacists are targeting & threatening Jews in a Montana town where Richard Spencer's org is headquartered:

  4. Very good piece arguing that progressives need to go on offense on voting rights:

  5. FL Supreme Court rules that more than 200 inmates serving on death row were given unconstitutional death sentences!

  6. ಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ

. CT, RI & DE all under Dem government; all lack early voting (& so Sunday voting) and no-excuse absentee. ()

  7. Democratic legislator says he will be introducing legislation to allow early voting in Connecticut:

  8. Peters also circles back to trade/TPP as what cost HRC support amongst unions—& says campaign lacked early voter contacts to tell them that:

  9. MI Senator Gary Peters argues HRC's campaign ignored organized labor & was too single-mindedly invested in modeling:

  10. So NC Dems promise not to protect trans rights, if GOP repeals law banning the protection of trans people?

  11. That Dems went along a week after NCGOP's power grab, & a month after anti-HB2 sentiment contributed to McCrory's loss, is mind boggling.

  12. HB2 already blocked ordinance. But after a yearlong outcry, GOP showed it stands firm against LGBT ppl but Dems didn't stand firm for them.

  13. Charlotte's repeal was initially contingent on HB2 repeal; but then Dems removed conditionality when GOP asked...!

  14. Dems protects LGBT rights; GOP passes HB2. All agree to repeal all. Dems trusts GOP, repeals LGBT ordinance 1st. GOP laughs, does nothing.

    ಈ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಲಭ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
  15. Quick reminder: this is all about equal rights for LGBTQ people. It's not a tough issue. That's really it.

  16. The death penalty is increasingly isolated to a few states. It's a relic of an earlier era.

  17. Why exactly did remove contingency portion of its ordinance repeal? Has anyone explain thought process beyond "good faith"?

  18. In any case, beyond me why Dems would trust NC GOP or be willing to backtrack on this issue where they'd secured clear public support.

  19. Charlotte's repeal of LGBT protections was conditional on legislature repealing HB2; but unclear how NCGOP's partial repeal affects that.

  20. Cooper earlier: GOP leaders "assured me that as a result of Charlotte's vote, a session will be called for Tuesday to repeal HB-2 in full."

ಲೋಡಿಂಗ್ ಸಮಯ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
