Final word: Judge issued stay on Muslim ban, said no one could be removed/sent back. But unclear what will happen to those detained.

US: "There are some people who might request to return to their country." Judge: "I'm not directing you to trap them here!"

Judge: I don't think it's unduly burdensome to ask for a list....nobody is being removed under this class."

Judge "The whole point of this hearing is to preserve the status quo. If this had been two days ago we wouldnt be here."

CAn you provide a list of who is detained. US: "We don't know, people are coming in all the time." Judge Donnelly: "Work it out."

ACLU: "We would like the US govt to designate someone to ask about individuals."

US: "Today, named plaintiffs are being released, and to extent that we have requests, we will act on them."
