In case you missed it, my  #PostOfTheWeek
"it's sheepish to follow principles you cannot relate to. It's sheepish to follow principles you don't understand. It's sheepish to follow people if you don't feel connected to them..." http://goo.gl/kYVW1a

#PostOfTheWeek

Our first priority is our relationship with God and then others and in no other order. God comes first before all.

Having a Gracious Heart

Be Grateful To change your thinking from I have to go to/do that to I can go to/do that Being grateful for the opportunities that we have open to us
Presence To have a presence towards the world in which we live in. Rather than being go go go taking the time to slow down and be aware of what is happening around us
Compassion To have more than just empathy for someone. To reach out and be there for someone in need. Like the parable of the good Samaritan. A man on his way to Jericho was beaten and left for dead. First, a priest passed, walking along the other side path. Next came a Levite, taking a look at the man, feeling empathy also left and walked along the other side of the path. Finally, a Samaritan came along and picked up the man and cared for him at the nearest inn.
Wisdom Good intentions and actions don't always have good results. One year a group of people came to the house of a family who was very disadvantaged bringing gifts for the children. While the children jumped around in glee the father left the house embarrassed and humiliated. Next year, instead of bringing gifts to the family, the same group sold their gifts at heavily discounted prices and took the family there to buy the gifts. If the family still could not afford the discounted items they made arrangements to work off the debt in the shop.
Humility
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus" Philippians 2:3-4
Value others above yourself, be here to serve as Jesus did. Live in the humility of Jesus

If you've gotten this far in the post congratulations to you, I know it's long
