Some time ago we released our first Release Candidate for Kodi v17 "Krypton". Since then we are continuously working on fixing some bugs in our code which are uncovered and will of course end up in next release. Should you not want to wait for that you can download and install the so called nightly builds which are the latest and greatest of Krypton builds. Simply install them on top of your current install and you are good to go. You can find these on our download page http://kodi.tv/download/

We've just pushed out our v17 beta 5 with some more fixes. There are stil some problems left to fix before we go for final release. We'll keep working on those of course.

It’s almost Christmas and as such we wanted to bring you the last Beta version of Kodi 17. This means we have good hopes we have squashed the biggest and known issues and up next we will go to Release Candidates which in the end will result in the final release. We sure would like to thank every one involved with either development, testing or simply helping out with answering their questions.

Past March we announced that v17 would feature a brand new default skin called Estuary and since then it has been included in every build we have released and received lots of comments over the past months.
As we are not deaf to these comments and try to create the best experience, our skin developer phil65 went back to the drawing board and rethought on how to incorporate this feedback into wat should become the final skin. So what have we done you might wonder? Well images speak a thousand words...
