. I would like to take your tweet about unity as being genuine. If it is, given the painful events of the last 3 years (and your own part in them), please provide much more detail as to your change of heart. Lots of people are mistrustful and angry; I don't blame them

Sure. There is a lot of emotion and distrust, understandably, given the events of the last 3 years. I feel it too. But when someone like offers an olive branch I think we should grasp it

“They who have put out the people's eyes reproach them of their blindness.” - John Milton 10 (or is it as high as 20?) Labour MPs on the right wing of the party have spent 3 years undermining the leader & the party Then jeer & sneer "party is split; should be 20 points ahead!"

Was ecstatic when Blair & Labour won in 1997 21 years on, Blair cuts a sad figure. Lionised in boardroom, in media and wherever powerful people gather but despised by very many in the UK As for Labour, it stands on the cusp of bringing fundamental change & ending Thatcherism

A brilliant book which should be read by Corbyn supporters for pleasure and Corbyn opposers to learn why he is the bookies’ favourite to be next PM (& much of what they think they know ain’t true) I would recommend buying it!

And this is why I joined, not to say those mentioned were perfect. However to see Labour return to it's socialist roots was what made me and others like me join the party. As a young activist in the Stop the War movement there was no way in hell I would join under

"I weep for you", the Walrus said "I deeply sympathise" With sobs and tears he sorted out Those of the largest size - Lewis Carroll The odious fake sympathy of the Tories for the most vulnerable members of society, driven into destitution by their own policies

Stephen, what disturbs me about 's phrase is the implication that ordinary constituency members can be leashed or unleashed at the behest of Corbyn Truth is this is grassroots democracy Diktats from the centre were a feature of New Labour rather than the party now

Let's examine the word "cult" To me, if someone is in a cult, it means they follow the cult-leader WHATEVER he or she says Now, I follow Corbyn BECAUSE of what he says. If he changed his tune, I'd stop following As for those following Blair, many seem to do so WHATEVER he says

. New Labour deserves credit for achievements in equality & human rights Also improving public services BUT Iraq was not only a disaster in terms of lives but also undermined trust in politics And never challenged Thatcherism so Cameron easily undid much of its work

DON'T MISS 25 Sept NW London FREE 2017/18, Arctic had warmest winter in last 40,000 years. Old frozen Arctic is gone. We know this. Are we reacting by going into denial? What are the facts & implications? What can and should we & our politicians be doing?

Difficult to feel much sympathy for the small number of Labour MPs who have or may yet face votes of no confidence They were all part of the attempt to “break Corbyn as a man” They have helped Tories by their actions And should have been paying attention to their local parties

. you have an obligation to be careful with your language Corbyn and his supporters are NOT “hard left" - they are “on the left of the party” The Labour MPs attacking Corbyn are NOT “moderates” - they are “on the right of the party”
