The Westin Ft. Lauderdale Beach Hotel is a modern hotel with a fantastic conference space, perfect for an event like LoopConf. It's located right on the beach, and is surrounded by great restaurants, bars, an exciting night life, and water taxis for quick travel around the inner harbor area. The hotel was recently remodeled and all the rooms are in pristine condition, with modern amenities. We've also negotiated an extremely competitive room rate with the hotel at only $175 per night, which is the best we've found in the area, especially for a hotel this snazzy.
We recommend booking flights directly to the Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL), but can also travel to Miami International Airport (MIA) and take ground transportation to the hotel. The venue is about an hour from the Miami Airport.
You have a few different options to get to the hotel. We recommend Uber or a Taxi.
It's about a 15 minute ride to the hotel, so both Taxi and Uber are going to be more economical than renting a car.
You can also look into a service like Super Shuttle to get you to the hotel on the cheap. Just remember those rides have to be scheduled in advance.
