Licensing for Simple Share Buttons Plus explained.
License Packages
Simple Share Buttons Plus Licensing is available in three different packages:
Inactive Licenses
If you don’t have an active license license in your Simple Share Buttons Plus installation, you will have a clear indication of this in the SSBP admin navbar.
Note whilst the plugin will function without a valid and active license, it’s not possible to take advantage of Support, the SSB API or ort.sh URL shortener without one.
Activating a License
Navigate to Share Buttons -> License and enter your License Key.
Click Save.
Click the Activate License button.
After successful activation you will see a green Active notice.
Managing Licenses
You can review all of your puchases, and manage your license allocations on the simplesharebuttons.com website. Login then navigate to your purchases. If you do not yet have an account you can register for one at any time.
When logged in, you can navigate to your purchases via the Members -> Purchases link in the main menu.
Purchase History
Your full purchase history will be listed here – allowing you to review any purchases you have made and download your invoices.
View Licenses
Clicking View Licenses will reveal a view showing the current status of the license in question, clearly indicating the number of sites you have left to activate.
Click the Key icon to reveal your license key for the purchase that you are reviewing.
Deactivate a Site
Click Manage Sites to see a run down of any currently active sites for the license.
Activate a Site
If you have any activations available for the license, you can allocate it to a site using the short form shown below. Simply enter the URL and click Add Site.
Your activation count will go up or down accordingly.
Note that you shall also need to activate the license via your installation of Simple Share Buttons Plus to complete the process.
Upgrading Licenses
Clicking View Upgrades will take you through to a page showing any available upgrades available for the license you are reviewing.
Review then select the upgrade you require by clicking Upgrade License accordingly.
The upgrade will be added to your basket and you will automatically be taken to checkout. Simply complete your purchase to upgrade your license.
