Help your customers get from A to B. Improve the web experience you provide them by designing for reality.
Zero Interface helps companies and government organizations improve the web/mobile experience for their customers through design, art direction and training. Zero Interface has worked both directly and with associates on a diverse range of projects for clients such as the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Dutch Ministry of Finance, the Netherlands Court of Audit, NCRV, Nuon/Vattenfall, Manager Tools, Kleertjes.com, and many others.
Much design on the Web today is based on the design of pretty containers; content is poured into visual designs which don't serve the needs of the content, and which are not equipped to deal with the variable form factors that the current device landscape provides us. A design that looks great when presented to you, might be presented as a flat image, at a certain width, with fake content. This is not reality. Reality is real content. Your content. Reality is phones, tablets, laptops, wearables, and maybe more. Reality is different browsers and different versions of browsers. Reality is that not every connection is a fast connection. And the reality of your customers is that they want to do what they came to your site or application to do. Their device, browser, network connection, or other limitations should not prevent them from doing so.
Designing and developing for reality is just good business.
Zero Interface is currently not accepting any new client work. Stephen still accepts a small number of speaking engagements for industry-related conferences.
