I'd Rather Be Reading: A Library of Art for Book Lovers translates the passion for reading into contemporary art, photography, and illustrations.

Mark Bradford is best known for his large abstract paintings. He uses fragments of posters, billboards, newsprint, and other found objects to create commentaries on class, race, and gender through his lens as a black American artist.

"Painting relates to both art and life. Neither can be made (I try to act in the gap between the two)," American painter and graphic artist Robert Rauschenberg once said.
